Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst und leckerem Omlette, super Ausblick vom Balkon, sauberer Pool als Highlight für diesen Preis! Ansprechpartner Chunchi sorgt dafür, dass alle Gäste zufrieden sind und hilft bei allen Anliegen, eine Lösung zu finden bzw. unterstützt bei der Organisation und gibt gute Tips! Schade, dass kein Restaurant im Haus ist. Wegen der Lage am Berg ist ein Gefährt nötig um zu Restaurants in die Stadt zu kommen.

The stay was as a part of the trip managed by Mr.Linton. One night there were a family with little kids running and screaming late late evening and the accoustic is not really perfect but I guess it is not better in any other place in this price category. But othervise, location is great, morning you wake up to a nice view and sound of birds. Stuff if helpful and breakfast are just Ok. I had much better breakfast at other locations in Sri Lanka, but not in Kandy so I cannot compare and for the price it was ok. I would give 5 start, the only reason I don't is that I experienced really better places in other locations in Sri Lanka, but for Kandy this might be a really good choice and you can'g go really wrong with it.

Établissement modeste, à la hauteur du tarif. Les chambres sont effectivement vieillottes mais avons bien eu des draps et une literie confortable ! A l'écart de la ville tout en étant à proximité du Big Bouddha et du temple de la dent, nous avons apprécié l'emplacement. L'accueil du personnel est d'une prévenance à toute épreuve, merci à Chunchie, un hôte incroyable!

Bei unserer zweiten Sri-Lanka-Reise sind wir auch nach Kandy zurückgekehrt, einzig um nochmal in diesem besonderen Guesthouse zu übernachten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schlicht und geräumig, alle Zimmer haben einen eigenen Sitzplatz draußen mit wunderschöner weiter Sicht ins Grüne. Es gibt außerdem einen Pool. Die Lage ist gut, man ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß in der City von Kandy. Das Personal ist überaus herzlich und hilfsbereit und hilft einem jederzeit gerne bei allen Anliegen weiter. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wieder sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Besitzer Mr Linton führt auch Blue Haven Tours & Travels und organisiert flexibel und unkompliziert maßgeschneiderte Touren je nach Bedarf. Am besten einfach in seinem Büro direkt am Bahnhof Colombo (Tourist Information) vorbeischauen. Wir würden jederzeit das Guesthouse und auch die Tour-Organisation wieder wählen.
