Green Planet Hotel

An excellent place to stay near Kannur International Airport. As the name suggests it is a beautiful place with lot of greenery. Very quiet place with excellent staff. Room was very neat and tidy. We went for a two day visit to temples around Kannur. The ***ager Mr Rajesh was very efficient and courteous and helped us a lot in planning our trips.The food was excellent. They are growing vegetables there and most of the veg dishes given to us were with items grown in their compound itself. We were very well taken care of and I strongly recommend the Hotel for a comfortable stay. Gopalakrishnan.T

Experience a resort type ambience, run like a homestay close to Kannur airport. We were pleasantly surprised to see a well spread out property nestled in nature but having modern amenities. A few ******* here and there as can be expected as there was limited staff. The owner and his wife live here and are hands on. Great food cooked as per your request.

The resort is ecologically built, perfectly designed to nest into the nature. Peace and calm environment. Awesome ambience, Situated in the midst of lush greenery. …..Rooms and washrooms were very clean and well maintained…. The staff were very courteous and the food was good (Fresh orange and pineapple juice’s were watery taste) ...Overall, a great area to enjoy some good times with family and friends close to Kannur Airport😊

First of all, this is one of those hotels where the owner and his family is fully invested and interested in making the stay of the guests comfortable. This property is a hotel which combines some features of a home stay and a resort without trying to become either. It is maintenance and service can beat the best or more expensive hotels. I can testify it as we arrived at this place on 15th of April which was Vishu, Good Friday and a Ramadan Friday, wherein most people prefer to stay home and as a result all the staff was on leave barring one cook. Other than us (3 families/rooms), there was only one more family staying at the hotel at that time. The property has 3 acres of farm which has ***y plantations and ***y of the vegetables are grown organically. We are vegetarians and yet all efforts were made to serve us high quality food of our choice. Rooms are of decent size, clean well maintained so are the bathrooms. The whole place has a nice appeal to it and well designed. This place is ideal for events as well with large lawn and ***y rooms. It is very close to Kannur airport. It is also an ideal stay option before venturing to visit Waynad or Coorg for holidays. We certainly intend to find another opportunity to visit Green Planet.

What I liked most about my stay here is the hospitality. It felt like a home away from home. They customised food the way we wanted. We wanted to eat local cuisine and they made it fresh in their kitchen with produce from their garden. They haven’t highlighted such a beautiful aspect about their space. The fragrance of the flowering and fruit trees filled the summer air. The open spaces in the property is beautiful to take a walk and is refreshing. All in all, the stay was very comfortable, safe and memorable
