While the service and amenities are fairly basic and could use some improvement, the breathtaking view and the soothing sound of the waves more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with stunning natural beauty, this place is worth a visit."

"It didn’t feel like a premium property at all. The location is great, but you can’t really enjoy the view from your room because the windows look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The staff were friendly, and that was honestly the best part of the stay. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working during one of the days we were there, which was frustrating. Breakfast buffet is very very average. At breakfast, the dosa had been made in advance and stacked in a hot pot, causing them to stick together. The chapati seemed to have been reheated, or simply wasn’t made well, and was quite hard to eat. There were also flies around the buffet, so we kept having to shoo them away, which made the whole experience much less pleasant. To top it off, their card readers weren’t working during checkout, so even leaving the hotel was more difficult than it should have been. Overall, it’s probably fine for a quick overnight stop, but I wouldn’t recommend it to international travellers. There are much better properties in the city."

"This resort I chose just by chance as this was the first time I travelled to that side. Not knowing anything about the place, beach and Malabar Beach resort. However, I just went ahead and booked. I must say, the best experience I and my family had. Amazing location of the resort. You step out and you are on beach. One of the cleanest and less crowded beach. You can enjoy your time. Coming back to the resort, resort owner, Sunil is an amazing host. He helped us all the time with everything that we needed. Amazing food, specially fish and Chicken masala. Good breakfast. Overall, a great amazing experience for me and my family. Thanks Sunil and Malabar team."

"I had travelled with my family, including my Amma who is a senior citizen. The resort is located in the heart of the city but away from the hustle of city life. The property belongs to a well known family and they have taken care to maintain the aesthetics value of each section of the property. Rooms are cozy, traditional keralam feel. The breakfast is limited however, freshly cooked. The menu for the day is filled with mouth watering Malabar cuisine and from other parts of India. The service is top class, with the personnel totally committed to looking after your needs. Even the guests/ friends of the guests are made to feel at home. Value for money."

"very convenient location, right next to the railway station. this hotel is on the top several floors of a shopping center. the rooms are quite nice, though the 'express room' is a little small. the experience was fine, it was not noisy, and it was well-kept. I had a little trouble adjusting the air conditioning (and there was no fan), and the restaurant is closed (due to the LPG shortage), but otherwise pleasant stay."
