A great location with great service. You're right next door to Kaohsiung Pier 2. The rooms may not have windows, much like ours didn't. If they do have windows, you can't open them. They're not particularly spacious in this hotel but you are very close by to numerous restaurants and cafes too, so it works out well. At time we could hear noises from the corridor so be weary of that. Busses are nearby but the times don't always align with google maps. Was a decent place, adequately priced and suitable for the time we had. But if we go back, we'll probably try for a more spacious place with a view! Otherwise for the cheap and cheerful option, this might be a great way to go!

Kangqiao Business Hotel is really a model of CITS hotel👍 Reasonable price, reasonable service~ For a late night snack, I specially chose the Guangrong Pier store, which is located near the light rail Guangrong Pier. The transportation is convenient and there is a parking lot. The late night snack is as the name suggests, super delicious, and the selection is also precise and diverse! The hotel is very clean, and the system operation is simple and clear. There is a free 24-hour ice cream bar and washing and drying clothes. There are many sockets in the room, which is very suitable for business needs. The hair dryer is not built-in, which is great, and it is very friendly to girls who need to blow their hair. The service staff are also very attentive and considerate. My favorite breakfast is the freshly fried breakfast. Kangqiao's egg pancakes are always delicious. The top-quality soy sauce paste is really a must-have. It's simple, happy and delicious! In addition, the breakfast in Kangqiao is of really high standard. I have never had any bad breakfasts so far, and there are many choices! As a Cambridge enthusiast, I hope you can always maintain your standards~

Living on Cijin Island, facing the sea, the experience is great. It may be the hotel with the longest corridor, and the elevator structure has a weird design. You have to go up first when you come down, haha. Below the hotel is the famous seafood market. There are many shops selling the same products, which is not easy!

I really like that the counter and check-in are in different places, so there is no pressure when entering or leaving the hotel. Guests of the hotel where I work must pass by the counter when entering or exiting. Guests have also left comments saying that being stared at by the counter is very stressful, but we are actually Always keeping an eye out if guests need help, so I like that. There is a convenient laundry room, a rich breakfast, and my favorite latte. The public snack area is also very considerate. Eating a small plate makes you feel good. Everyone should help to tidy up and restore the environment. There is a free parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don't particularly need a spot, don't drive out in case there is no parking space. The location is right at Xiziwan, so you can go for a walk and enjoy the breeze after you have eaten in the evening. It is also very convenient to walk to take a boat to Cijin. Highly recommended👍

I booked a sweet room type. I read the reviews for this hotel, which has two hotels. The reviews were polarizing. I thought it was very cheap and I didn’t need to ask for too much. The result was amazing. I was placed in Room 202 on the 2nd floor. The sound insulation effect of the room is very good, there are floor-to-ceiling windows, and the air conditioning is very cool. The shower head in the bathroom has a large amount of water. If you need a hair dryer and toiletries, you can ask at the counter. The breakfast was so rich that I didn’t even need to eat lunch. The lobby also provides unlimited coffee, drinks, and snacks for free reception. There is also a dedicated parking lot Attractions, transportation, super convenient and high CP value ⭕️Even met the international star Xu Fangyi herself A great place to stay. I will stay there again next time

It is very suitable for parents and children to stay. The children play in the playroom until they don’t want to leave. The environment and hygiene are very good. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Love River. This time I stayed in a city view room. When I opened the curtains, I could see the night view outside, which was very beautiful. Overall, I was very happy to stay here. The downside was that there was rusty water flowing out of the silicone in the bathtub, which made people dumbfounded😱. The breakfast was very average and the porridge was too watery.

I am visiting my mom in Taiwan and decided to spend a couple of nights in Kaohsiung. I will be quite honest. I didn't have a lot of expectations staying at a Holiday Inn Express. But the stay exceeded my expectations. I took the MRT and the station is less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. The check in process was smooth. I was offered a drink (I picked soda!) at check in for being a Platinum member. A very nice gesture. My room is small, but most rooms in Asia seem small to me coming from the US. It has a tiny view of the river and the park. You can tell the hotel is pretty new. I work a lot in my room wherever I am traveling in the world. This modern room provides all the necessary electric outlets for me to plug whatever I need in. This is important to me as well as good working wifi, which this property provides. Oh! They also gave me a basket of snacks and drinks! That was a very pleasant surprise! The breakfast selection is somewhat limited but sufficient whether you are into ********* or Western breakfast. I don't travel to Taiwan often, so whenever I can have ********* breakfast, that's what I eat! They even have a noodle station, but unlike most other Asian hotels I stayed at, it is a self-serve Noodle station. I don't trust myself enough to make one. I wonder if it is possible for the hotel to allocate a staff person to work the station. The service at the breakfast buffet was great! They offered to make me drinks. I took the opportunity to order some iced latte. I almost gave this place a 5-star, but there are a couple of things needed work: 1) I could never get the shower head aligned to face me directly while standing in the middle of the shower. 2) The water pressure in the sink is really low when it is on cold. If I turned it away from cold, the pressure is fine. But I don't always want warm or hot water. 3) This one is more of a personal suggestion. I wish this place had a gym/workout room. That's another thing I look for when I travel. Not sure if there is anything they can do. But just thought I would throw it out there. I read some unnecessary harsh reviews (like one earlier where the worker had trouble finding their reservation), but my experience tells me the staff tries their best to make your stay enjoyable. I am sorry I couldn't quite give this hotel a 5-star, but I will definitely stay here again in the future when I am in Kaohsiung!

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It is very close to Jielian Station and is very convenient. What I appreciate most is that you can drink beer from 6 to 10 pm in the evening. There are sports equipment and a laundry room. The hygiene problem can be improved because two small cockroaches were found on the bed. Very comfortable, the room is quite big, the wifi is not smooth and a bit slow, the service staff is very good, polite and patient! If I go to Kaohsiung again, I will probably stay here again! I hope the hygiene problem has improved next time I stay.
