Royal Fine Hotel
"Location: Nearby bus stop, easy to travel with buses. 10mins walk to MRT station,10 mins to Liu He Night Market. Accommodation: Clean and Tidy, enough spaces to open and close luggages. Hot water shower come out very fast. Pricr: Good price for two people stay"
Hotel Dùa
"Hotel Dua embodies a refined and understated design aesthetic, making it a rare find in Kaohsiung as a boutique hotel that masterfully blends quality with individuality. The spatial design is rooted in a modern Oriental style, featuring carefully selected materials and a sophisticated control of lighting and color – creating a sense of design without being ostentatious. The guest rooms are quiet and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing, and the bedding and bathroom experience are of a high standard, clearly demonstrating an attention to detail. The service team is professional yet unobtrusive; communication is natural and efficient, making guests feel respected without being bothered. The location is convenient, yet the overall atmosphere successfully maintains a distance from the city's hustle and bustle. All in all, Hotel Dua is perfectly suited for travelers who value a balance of quality, aesthetics, and the overall living experience; it's the kind of hotel you'd happily return to after your first stay."
Single Inn (Kaohsiung Station)
"The breakfast was very nice, and the common area was comfortable and well maintained—even though the building itself is relatively small. The layout and interior design make practical use of the space, which I appreciated. The location is also excellent, within easy walking distance of the main train station. I really like the hotel’s concept and atmosphere, and it feels especially welcoming and convenient for solo travellers."
Airline Inn Kaohsiung Station
"Great, will come again."
SKYONE HOTEL
"The location is near to metro station, just need to follow GPS to find the hotel. They have a reception but check in and check out are self service using a machine at the lobby, very convenient. Rooms are quite spacious and clean, the hotel have a lift. Room have kettle. Walking distance to night market."
Midtown Richardson-Kaohsiung Bo Ai
"The location is perfect and the room is very spacious. It seems like there are two 1.5-meter beds."
CHAO SHE HOTEL
"Small room but its reasonable price .. clean room and they have housekeeping services"
Kindness Hotel (Kaohsiung Station)
"Conveniently located across the main train station (to note it is not the high speed rail station) and within walking distance to Liuhe night market. Familiar fast food establishments are also nearby. Hotel also provides a refreshment area at level 1 where guests have access to ice cream, biscuits, drinks."
Moon Xinxing
"The location is convenient and the environment is clean. We had a window with a river view. The tiled floors were spotless and the air was fresh. They provided complimentary bottled water, and the staff were very friendly. It was clean and bright, with free coffee, tea, and snacks available."

Grand Hi-Lai Hotel
"Excellent overall services. Sauna and jacuzzi was excellent, . Delicious food and coffee at the lobby. The only serious setback was the heavy scent of mildew on the walkway carpet."
THE AMNIS, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kaohsiung
"We arrived and did our check in - we did run into some issues checking in, it they didn’t understand that I had payed online and that I booked 2 rooms they gave me 1 room for the price of one A bit back and forward and we eventually got our 2 rooms Hotel was nice and the facilities was great"
Han-Hsien International Hotel
"Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain"
Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung
"Good breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, and new facility of hot spring"
The Tree House
"Really great service and they even let us leave the baggage for a bit as we visited a bit outside the city."
Fullon Hotel Kaohsiung
"The hotel is simple and convenient for our visit. Quick walk to the Dayi Warehouse area which was fun."
Howard Plaza Hotel Kaohsiung
"Very comfortable and clean place"
H2O Hotel
"The hotel boasts an excellent location, standing as a standalone building. There are plenty of shopping options nearby. The front desk is on the 20th floor. On the first floor, they take care of your luggage and deliver it directly to your room. The room isn't huge, but the warm tones make it feel cozy and comfortable. I was very pleased with the numerous complimentary amenities. The mini-bar offers a great variety of drinks, which is a thoughtful touch, and the Dyson hairdryer is very practical and convenient. The gym is a bit on the small side. Breakfast was the most satisfying part – the steak was tender and delicious, comparable to renowned steak houses! There's a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and mushrooms, offering plenty of healthy choices. Overall, the standard is superb. I absolutely recommend it; personally, I think it's much better than Marriott or InterContinental! It's the top choice when visiting Kaohsiung."
Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel
"Hotel is beautiful and room is spacious and exceptionally comfortable."
HWA NAH Motel
"The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. It was also very affordable."
TAI Urban Resort
"Great experience ! Very pleasant environment :) We enjoyed everything of this hotel - facitliies, room setting, restaurant, decoration ! Perfect ! Thank you :)"
Grand Orchid Resort Villa
"The location is very secluded and it’s great to look up at the stars at night There is a walkway outside the room window Pay attention to privacy and sound insulation when opening the door It's okay for people who don't mind The instructions for hot spring switch facilities could be strengthened Otherwise it will take a long time to study The direction of the sunbathing chair should be outwards. My chair is facing the next room, which is weird."
Kaohsiung Hù House
"Overall, the hotel was good. However, I booked a twin room for two people but was assigned a room with three beds at check-in. Also, the facilities were a little outdated."
Fullon Poshtel Kaohsiung
"Overall, the hotel is decent and comfortable for a stay. My room was clean and spacious. The hotel is eco-friendly, so single-use personal care items like toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided; they are available at the counter for 20 NTD if needed. Shower foam and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. There are also no bottled water amenities, but you can boil your own water in the room. One feature I really appreciated was the laundry room. As someone who likes to wash clothes while travelling, this was a big plus. It isn’t free (50 NTD for washing and another 50 NTD for drying), but I find the pricing reasonable. The hotel also offers free biscuits and drinks during the day at Level 16, which guests are welcome to enjoy. The location is convenient, within walking distance to a FamilyMart and the Cianjin MRT station. What I didn’t particularly like, although I understand the eco-friendly concept, was that some basic hotel service felt lacking. Late at night, I called the front desk to request paper and a pen, and was told I had to go down to collect it myself. Personally, after showering and settling in for the night, I didn’t expect to have to go downstairs for such a small request, and it was mildly frustrating, so I chose not to collect it and only asked again the following day. That said, I’m not sure if this was due to a particular staff member. My interactions with other front desk staff were generally positive, they were helpful with directions and assisted me with booking a taxi in advance. Overall, a comfortable stay with good facilities, though service consistency could be improved slightly."
J-Hotel
"About 10 minutes walk from Kaohsiung station. The room is clean and comfortable, there is 7-11 nearby hotel and many hawkers food nearby."
M Hotel
"The location was great, close to the night market. However, the facilities were quite old, and the bathroom and floors weren't very clean. The parking lot was too small; it was hard to fit an SUV. On the bright side, the breakfast was good with a decent variety."
