This houseboat offers a serene atmosphere with well-kept rooms and spotless washrooms. The food, while slightly spicy, was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. Imran, our boat guide, expertly arranged our day hikes in Sonmarg. We are definitely planning to return for a longer stay.

Our two-night stay at Houseboat Zaindari Palace was truly exceptional. Nestled in a serene area of Dal Lake, it offers breathtaking views of the mountains. Expectional stay at houseboat zaindari palace. The mountain view was absolutely stunning, and the bedroom exuded classic charm with its wooden walls and intricate carvings. The food was served promptly, featuring a delightful Kashmiri Wazwan feast. Imran, the boatman, was a true gem; he rescued us from a bad situation with a taxi driver who tried to scam us. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.
