Hotel Karae

This room type is really big, spacious enough to have an L-shaped sofa. The hotel aroma is very comfortable and the environment is clean. It is very suitable for families. There are many izakayas in the evening, and eating is convenient. I will want to stay here again next time.

I chose Kalai because it was only a three-minute walk from JR Karatsu and there were no single rooms left. Then I saw many good reviews and became curious. I also wanted to try the multi-person hostel room type - the price was really favorable. It turned out that the choice was absolutely correct! I stayed in an eight-person room for two days, three people on day 1 and two people on day 2. Everyone was very polite and quiet. The hotel is on the third floor of this lovely building. The aromatherapy essential oils in the public area are comfortable, and the front desk is smiling and patient. You have to pass the washing area first when entering the room. There is a large damping sliding door. The shared washing room is well-planned and very spacious, with dry and wet separation, and all facilities are of high quality. Although there are 8 bunk beds in the room, it does not feel crowded at all. The bed is 1.2 wide, and there are sinking valuables boxes, bedside lamps, and USB ports. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. In short, the details are full. The restaurant on the first floor is also open to the public. I ordered a 1800 yen set meal at noon on Day 2. It was delicious. 50 meters away from the hotel, on one side is the famous Kawashima tofu, but unfortunately I didn’t eat it because it was a holiday. On the other side is the Yamamo live cuisine, which was a feast! It’s a pity that I only stayed for two nights and it rained for half a day on Day 2, but Karatsu has left a deep impression on me. If I come again, I will choose Kalai. I hope the hostel-style rooms are not too full^_^

Facilities: The facilities are okay, but the room is a bit dark and stuffy. Hygiene: Hygiene is relatively clean. Environment: Close to Dangjin Station, very convenient for eating and moving. Service: The service is average, it feels like the service level of a capsule hotel.

This was my first time staying at Hotel Karae. There was a parking lot nearby, which was very convenient. The employees also responded kindly. The hotel was very stylish and clean, and the lobby was on the third floor, and the citrus scent the moment the elevator opened was very refreshing. The best thing about the room was that the bathroom was large and clean. You can walk to a convenience store within 10 minutes and walk through the townscape. There was also Karatsu Shrine nearby, which I visited. There are sushi restaurants and izakaya nearby, so I didn't have any trouble finding food. I would like to use it again next time.

It's very close to the station, but we found the wrong floor at first and went to someone else's office on the second floor. The room was not big, but it was a very new hotel. We purchased additional breakfast and redeemed it at the matching restaurant on the first floor with the meal coupon given when we checked in. The mattress is also very comfortable and not too soft, and the service staff are very friendly. It is also very convenient to walk to various attractions.

It's been a long time since I last traveled to Karatsu and I was staying in a car, but since I'm not very familiar with geography, I had a hard time parking my car. The bed was large and I was able to rest comfortably and get rid of my fatigue. It was nice to be reminded of the old night trains, where there was only one curtain.
