This time, we took sufficient precautions to prevent infection, followed the "basic approach to infection prevention" and "specific measures to be taken," and enjoyed our trip. I'm a bit used to traveling, so please forgive me if my comments are harsh. I visited Imari and Karatsu from Takeo during Golden Week on a trip to visit pottery manufacturers for the first time in a while. I've visited Karatsu several times, but I usually just pass by without staying there, but this time, I was lucky enough to discover a wonderful inn with a quaint atmosphere. Although I only stayed for one night on the second day of a three-night, four-day stay, the exterior of the inn is a Japanese inn with a calm, sukiya-style, pure Japanese-style architecture, and the room overlooks the Genkai Sea. The room we were given was the "Matsu no Ma," and from the room we had a wonderful oceanfront view of Karatsu Bay. There was also a tea room in the room, which was the largest room in the inn. The bath in the room was a cypress bath, which was nice, but it would be even better if the tea room part, which is rarely used, was an open-air bath. We were able to enjoy dishes made with fresh natural seafood from the Genkai Sea. Dinner and breakfast were served in the room, so we felt safe. We enjoyed the bounty of the Genkai Sea, including Karatsu and Goto, locally produced seasonal cuisine, and fine Saga sake. There was a wide variety of food, and each dish was delicious, including Saga beef and kaiseki cuisine. Each dish at breakfast and dinner was carefully prepared and ingenious, and the quality of the ingredients was added to the taste, and the portions were just right for our age, so it was very delicious. After checking out, we left our luggage and took a boat to Takashima, where we prayed for a big win at Shioya Shrine (Sannogu Shrine) and Hoto Shrine. We bought lottery tickets, so if we win a big win, we'll definitely return. Although we only stayed one night, my husband and I had a fun and relaxing time. This is one of the inns we would like to use again when we visit Karatsu.
