This hotel has it's own little beach and a jetty over the clear waters. The island is very hilly and with only one road surrounding the National Park in the centre, the hotel is on the edge of town. Only negatives are that due to the rustic construction, sound carries from the living areas downstairs and from other rooms very easily so suggest earplugs if a light sleeper and a sleep mask as the curtains and front door allows light to flood in. Fani on reception is such a star... even helping us when my hired scooter got a flat tyre. Trips to other islands within Karimunjawa national Park are easily available and the snorkeling is wonderful. Great place for a true off the beaten path paradise escape. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to being built into the hillside though. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended

It is the hotel with complete facilities and the best service on the island. I stayed here for 5 consecutive days and the experience was great. The hotel has a free boat that can be rowed out to see the coral reefs. We left the island by boat early in the morning and had already arrived at the port. The hotel caught up with us. They brought us breakfast. The service was so considerate.

Siamo stati qui per fortuna solo una notte di passaggio per altro alloggio. Hotel molto datato, sporcizia ovunque. Avevamo la camera sopra la hall e durante la notte abbiamo avuto più volte la visita di un grosso topo. Siamo scesi schifati nella hall per chiedere aiuto ma non c'era nessuno. Non abbiamo mai dormito. Colazione pessima e personale poco preparato.

Lovely resort and island
An amazing location with our room overlooking the ocean. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. We used the complimentary kayaks and paddled out to the nearest island, rented a scooter and went snorkeling and hung out at the town square, Alu-Alu. Had some very fresh lobster, shrimp and squid. The room was fantastic.

Magnifique hôtel au milieu des cocotiers , bananiers , manguiers, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer cristalline et chaude à souhait..Le matin, on pouvait admirer le levé du soleil sur la mer, c'était fantastique. Les chambres climatisées sont disposés dans des petits bungalows cachés dans la verdure On pouvait apercevoir des singes se promener dans les jardins L'hôtel dispose de canoës, de gilets pour faire des balades autour de l île, ainsi que du matériel pour faire du snorkeling, tout est gratuit ( + prêt des serviettes de plages). Il y a une petite piscine L'hôtel est tenu par un français, Jean -Marc, un grand merci pour son accueil des plus chaleureux. Il a tout fait pour nous satisfaire et rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Les repas sont bons. Nous étions un groupe de 24 personnes, pour la plupart des plongeurs

We spent one week on Karimunjawa and the Resort and loved every single minute. It's in a wonderful setting not too far from the village. The beach is small and lovely. We stayed at the Esplanade Suite which is nicely furnished, the huge terrace offers great views. The staff is very friendly and engaged. The food at the restaurant is probably the only negative. The dishes are lacking taste and even the spicy items are rather bland. But maybe this is how the (western) tourists like it? However the village isn't far and offers plenty of options.

Nous étions dans un Seahill cottage, et avions de grandes attentes par rapport à cet hôtel très souvent présenté sur les réseaux sociaux tenu par un français. La chambre était superbe, très confortable, avec une vue splendide. Les deux plats que nous avons pris au restaurant était très bons, mais j'ai trouvé un bout de plastique dans mon plat, et lorsque je l'ai signalé, même pas une excuse... Niveau équipement, les matelas de plage mériteraient un petit passage chez la couturière, et le matériel de snorkeling prêté (idée absolument géniale, d'autant que le récif est au pied de l'hotel!) a dû être changé 3 fois, les tubas prenant l'eau (et le premier n'avais carrément plus de filtre, j'ai pris une inspiration entièrement d'eau!) Le fait que le propriétaire soit français a été un vrai plus pour nous et notre anglais pas parfait, nous évitant de louper notre bateau qui avait changer d'heure.

Met gezin met 3 jonge kids een week hier gebleven. Uitstekend. Fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk eten, erg vriendelijk medewerkers. De receptie is zeer behulpzaam in het organiseren van alles wat je maar wilt doen op het eiland en kamers zijn perfect schoon met airco en wifi!
