Nice traditional onsen hotel

An old Japanese hot spring hotel with branches in many places. The rooms are mainly Japanese style. The rooms are clean and tidy. The food is not surprising. The breakfast is simple and has everything you need.

Very cozy hotel

Incredible, cool, historical. I stayed with a hiking group and the dinner was soooo good. It was a fancy meal of fugu, sashimi, hot pot and more. The manager dude, Sato, has excellent English and is very friendly and professional. I slept well on a futon, and the air conditioning was great. The breakfast buffet was very good. Loved it.

It's small, but the polite and warm hospitality makes you feel very comfortable. When I come to Karuizawa, my family always goes to Tsuruya.

It is a traditional inn that used to be on the Nakasendo road. Every time I went to Karuizawa, I was interested in this ryokan in the innermost part of the former Karuiginza. There is only a long-established store, and the service is proper. However, it is slightly that room is small. Please understand the narrowness because I felt that I was using a twin as a single. I didn't eat, so I can't rate it. It's not a hot spring, but there is a large bath, so I wonder if it's above the middle. I think foreigners will be pleased. Cospa is good.
