The hotel is nestled in the woods and lacks distinctive features, though it does have many cute little trinkets. It's very quiet and doesn't have a hot spring. It's perfect for a stroll or renting a bicycle to cycle to the town. From there, you can take a bus to explore Kyu Karuizawa Ginza. There's also a small stream near the hotel where kids can play for half a day.

Nicely decorated in the hotel and the garden. There is a music corner with a piano too!
We arrived late due to heavy rain and slow traffic, the front desk waited for us and felt very welcoming.
For location, it would be easier to drive there. We went to nearby churches with refreshing walks in the forest the next morning!
