The large public bath is good, and the wide space and view can relax both body and mind. At the French dining, you can enjoy your meal while looking at the garden, and the food is delicious.

Check in advance the bus schedules that go from Karuizawa Station to other locations to hotels to other locations. Check in advance the timetables and bus routes of other buses based on bus stops near the hotel (does it stop at other places you want to go?). The hallway to the public bath is long, so be sure to bring your own slippers, your own public bath bag, and your own style of clothes for going to and from the bath (in a style that allows you to do yoga or exercise after taking a bath). Take a walk down the back street to Tsuruya Supermarket, a famous shopping place for vacationers, and enjoy the feeling of being a vacationer (private brands will be available as souvenirs). A sports park with a curling center and a skating center is nearby, so be sure to have a valuable experience. If you look for it, there are delicious restaurants and cafes nearby, even if they don't often appear in magazines. I don't want to tell people because I don't want it to be crowded (lol)

The room was spacious and satisfying, but the quality of the staff at the French restaurant was very poor. They were not new employees but part-timers, so they spoke politely, but their words and the service they provided were inconsistent.

Last October, I was given a voucher to stay here by a family friend. The dinner was delicious and the view of Mt. Asama the next morning was beautiful.

It's about a 10-minute drive to the Karuizawa outlet mall, and about a 5-minute drive to the nearest supermarket and convenience store. This is a fairly large, new hotel. The rooms are quite spacious if you use a twin bed. The design is modern and relaxing. The bath, toilet, and washroom are all separate, so it's easy to use. All the amenities are in one color. Our room was on the first floor, but there was a chair on the terrace, and beyond that a large lawn, so you can feel the nature. There is an air purifier, a small refrigerator, an electric kettle, disposable slippers, and a yukata. There was an ice maker and a microwave in the hallway. The rooms and the building are well-cleaned and clean. There is a large public bath, but it is a little far from the guest room building, so it took a while to get there. There are about three baths and a sauna. It is spacious enough to relax in if it is not crowded. You can view the surrounding mountains from the semi-open-air bath in the morning or until sunset. The water is listed as hot spring water, but it smelled a little strong of chlorine. On the reception floor, there is a souvenir shop, a restaurant, a lounge, and a self-service wine bar. There were several restaurants in the hotel. The breakfast plan could be changed to a takeaway lunch box that could be eaten in the room. The breakfast venue was quite crowded and there was a line to get in, so I took the takeaway and ate it slowly in the room. All the staff were very friendly. It would be a waste to stay just one night, and I think this is a comfortable hotel that is also suitable for long-term stays.

I chose Karuizawa for my first Harvest. It was a high-class inn according to Jalan, but the staff were very friendly. I was given a room that was left to me, but it was a long, three-story building, and the room was on the edge, so I was quite tired. The design of the room was calm, as was the corridor, and it was a standard room, but it was nice to stay there. I could lean out from the balcony and see half of Mt. Asama. Everything from towels to amenities was provided for five people. We stayed as a group of three, and the bed was for two, and the remaining person had to lay their own futon. Since it was a high-class inn, I thought there would be lotion and milk, but unfortunately there wasn't. The buffet had a smaller selection than a certain Karuizawa Prince Hotel. However, the dishes were all carefully selected and everything was a hit. It took a long time for the food to be prepared in the live kitchen, so we often had to line up. However, I have seen many buffets in the past, and although the steaks here were small, they were somewhat thick and satisfying. For dessert, there were many types of cake, which were slightly smaller than normal cakes, but they were also delicious. There are mixed opinions, but the yogurt ice cream was not too sweet and was exceptional. There was meat for breakfast, and a freshly made vegetable smoothie, so it was a satisfying meal to start the morning. The hot spring is far away...it was even further away after getting off the elevator. It took more than 5 minutes from the room to the hot spring. There is a special bag for slippers that you can take to the changing room. It is unclear whether the lockers are cleaned regularly. The source is Oze Onsen No. 3. The hot spring water trickles out and stops and comes out over time. The source is lukewarm and odorless. However, there is a chlorine smell as the water circulates from inside the bath. Considering the size of the hotel, the bath is small and feels quite cramped even with just a few people in it. Hmm, it's a hot spring that doesn't have much of a distinctive feature...Maybe because they use Oze Onsen No. 3, there is no oily smell like the Oze Onsen Hotel. Since the Oze Onsen Hotel is far away, maybe the water is transported? I didn't use the open-air bath because it is fresh water. The washing area felt a bit narrow. As a hotel of the same level, I can't help but compare it to the Karuizawa Prince Hotel. The buffet is better at this hotel, especially the breakfast. But the rest of the food is either better or the same as the pudding. The building structure is unavoidable, so I wish the room accessories were better.

I stayed for two nights with the room type selected. The view outside the window was of a parking lot, and I couldn't see the mountains. The window only opened a little on one side. The room was spacious. The bath was far away. The bath itself had a view of the mountains, and the water was clean. (No trash floating in it.) The plan only included breakfast, so I ate outside at night, and on my way back, I accidentally fell into a waterway and hit my head on the bottom of the water. I returned to the hotel soaking wet, washed my clothes at the laundry and dried them. I was exhausted from walking back and forth along the long corridor to the laundry next to the bath. The bus times on the way there and back didn't match the Shinkansen arrival and departure times, so even though I had a plan that allowed me to check out late, I had to take the 10:30 bus. I ended up waiting for the Shinkansen at the station for over an hour. (-_-;) I think most of the hotel staff were nice. I was just unlucky. (T_T)

The fresh air and environment of Karuizawa. The young staff and well-maintained facilities are perfect for refreshing yourself. Compared to the old Karuizawa facility in front of the station, there is a grassy area where you can play, so it's good for families with small children. Well, I think it's good for family fun.
