The interior is well landscaped, and in addition to golf, various activities such as biking and swimming are available. Particularly impressive are the independent lodges with great views.

The staff were friendly and helpful with all the aspects of my stay. The food was well prepared and the staff were always friendly and polite. They had fun with our names. The golf course was open to the wildlife, zebra, gazelles and warthogs.

We spent two nights at the resort and it was wonderful! Zebras and impala roam the grounds, the golf course is beautifully kept. This is a high end resort with many things to do! We did a cooking class and shown how to make traditional foods. Francesca showed us to the the grounds on a nature walk. Oscar, Martin, William and Ester showed how to make the traditional dishes that we ate for dinner tonight! It’s a must stay if you are coming to Naivasha!

Good service, Kinyua the driver was especially really nice. The food and conference facility was awesome. The rooms are good and warm. The pool is heated and there are so many activities to do here, badminton, tennis, golf etc. The reception personnel are quick.

It was a lovely stay, great service, great staff. It will be lovely to be back, lots of activities to engage in basketball, tennis, bike riding, horse riding, golf and so much more. A put off are the mosquitoes and I hope you will manage the situation.

Very unimpressed with this resort. The rooms were very old, run down, the bathrooms had a foul smell, and the room amenities across the 5 rooms we had, were inconsistent. We were only here for a night and thank God for that as the property, as beautiful as it was, is severely infested with mosquitos and the problem is not well managed at all (unlike some of the other places we stayed at in Kenya). From mosquitos falling into our cup of tea, to being severely bitten through our clothes, there was absolutely no escape. At a glance, the resort looked beautiful with options for extra curriculars such as tennis and golf. But even if we had the time, we wouldn't have dared venture out due to the severe mosquito infestation! Another thing to note is that this resort is about a 45-minute drive from Lake Navaisha so for those looking to just make a pit stop in Naviasha, it is not ideal.

Fantastic stay at the Great Rift Valley Lodge. After long safaris in Samburu and Aberdares, this was the perfect place to relax before heading to the Mara. While there we enjoyed a private cooking class in the kitchen of the resort to see how the magic gets made and even got to eat our creations that night at dinner! We were going to take a walk along the grounds but almost got caught in a big rain storm so our wonderful host Daniel quickly pivoted and set up a private lesson on the over 200 birds in Naivasha. The pool was a relaxing place to hang out in the afternoons and at night we took Sundowners in the bar near the cozy fireplace - definitely recommend the Great Rift Valley Gimlet! Food for each of the meals was delicious (and not just because we made one meal!) and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating.
