2-Star Hotels in Kashgar

It’s not easy for foreigners to find a a hotel in Kashgar, but this place was a great place to stay. It really gives you the feeling of old Kashgar. There’s an excellent shop making fresh nang bread about 50 meters away. Make sure to book your bread the evening before because the local people seem to buy there every day.

They are currently the only hostel accommodating foreigners as of July 2023. Most of the hotels Trip. com provides don't allow foreigners. But Trip reps are very helpful via chat calling up options for you - and refund you if it turns out a booking denies you. And even compensate you for the hardship. Best booking company ever. The only negative that can't be changed is not enough toilets (porcelain hole in the ground, not a proper western toilet seat if that's important to you ) for the amount of people. I think my floor accommodates 14 people with just 1 shower/toilet. The shower is in the toilet space so it's very easy to slip and get your foot in the toilet floor hole.. Wear flip flops. If someone is in the shower and you need toilet, you better be able to hold it in. Also, the beds are thin flat japanese style matresses so I might not be your cup of tea. Besides that, the location is great. It's in the old town right on the wall above the nightlife bar street but the loud music don't reach the rooms. Rooms have fans and strong AC. That said, if there are Chinese in your room, they will ask to turn both off. They like it hot. .. I came on a loaded touring bicycle. They found space for it in the employee/storage room on the 2nd floor. I have a large bike and was able to carry it up the narrow stairs. If you're more than 1 person on a bicycle tour together, the bikes might not fit in the hostel. Maybe lock them outside. With tons of cameras and police, no one will dare steal them. At worse, people will pose next to your loaded bike as they did mine when I stopped for a cold beer before checking in. The staff spoke good English considering how remote Kashgar is and were very helpful and kind. Unlike typical hostels outside China , people are respectful and quiet here.

The location is very good. The surroundings are very good during the day and night. The service is friendly and the travel information is provided. We like it. There are snacks, fruits, nuts and dried fruits on the table at the entrance. The proprietress is very beautiful. I hope to stay again next time. The night view around the accommodation is invincible, and the proprietress is reliable and kind, leaving a very good impression. On the first day, the proprietress offered to provide Uyghur hats for us to take to Khan Bazaar to take pictures. We stayed here for 4 nights, loved it and would recommend it. My daughter was not feeling well in the last two days, and the proprietress was also enthusiastic and caring, providing medical needs and reassuring our family.

I just arrived in Kashgar and I was not familiar with the route. The boss was very enthusiastic and picked me up at the gate of the ancient city. The room in the B&B was very clean. It was very cool as soon as we entered the room and the air conditioner was on. Serving me frozen watermelon🍉 was very considerate and touching. The boss was very kind and even helped me apply for a border security permit. The small details are eye-catching. The B&B and the beautiful Xinjiang place are worth recommending.

The public areas are decorated with care, but the room feels like it’s not a painting style at all. This is an aesthetic issue, that’s all. (I have seen this problem in many B&Bs in Kashgar. The public areas and rooms are not a style of painting, so I use my thoughts in the public areas.) 2 The bathroom in the room is too small and does not separate dry and wet. It must have been decorated at the time. Once installed, the bath water leaked out of the bathroom, which was very slippery. It is impossible for people to mop the floor after taking a bath at night. The bathroom in this room is very small and leaks, so book carefully. Then I saw that the opposite room seemed to be a Qiangwu room, the bathroom was very large, it was very unbalanced😓😓😓 3 The decoration is definitely cheaper, the door is not suitable, and the opening and closing is laborious. Just look outside, there is really no interest in taking pictures in the room.

A very good youth hostel, very suitable for young people to live when traveling, the second floor and the third floor are the place to live, the fourth floor is the rooftop, the sun goes down at ten o'clock, the movie will be played on the rooftop at ten o'clock, you can also choose to sing, play werewolf killing, many young people play together, every day is very happy, We can also go to other places together. It is very comfortable and comfortable here. The boss and the proprietress are super nice and enthusiastic. Not only help our girls carry luggage, but also provide free watermelon to everyone every day. I am very happy here and will come again.

In addition, the traffic is very convenient. It is only a few tens of meters away from the bus station, and there are direct cars to the train station and airport.

Since the arrival time was already early in the morning, the boss knew that we had a lot of luggage and took a cart to pick us up at the gate of the ancient city. The handsome boss and the boss' father are also super nice people, and I was lucky enough to have breakfast and dinner cooked by myself. It is very pleasant to drink and chat together at night.
