"Hands down one of the best hostels I've experienced on my journey. The interior decor is full of authentic ethnic charm. The common areas are spacious and bright, making it a great spot to mingle with fellow travelers from all corners of the world. There are plenty of clean restrooms and showers, and the cleaning staff are very diligent. It's also the first hostel I've stayed at that offers complimentary breakfast, with the staff preparing delicious naan, eggs, and milk – a truly thoughtful and attentive touch. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Kashgar!"

"Wow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that. She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here. Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed. While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information. The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate). The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean. Thank you so much Mrs. Li! "It was my first time to visit the ancient city of Kashgar. I booked a homestay online in advance. The owner personally picked me up at the gate of the ancient city. He was warm and thoughtful. The pictures on the Internet are exactly the same as the pictures I actually stayed in. The environment is clean and sanitary, and the decoration is very ethnic. Especially the terrace on the fourth floor, you can watch the stars and drink tea at night, and there are pigeons flying in the sky during the day. It is also very convenient to go shopping in the ancient city. Going out is Id Kah, walking on the left is Han Bazaar, and on the right are all Internet celebrity check-in places. You can cook by yourself in the kitchen on the first floor. The price is also cheaper than other homestays. It is really worth the money. The price-performance ratio is very high. "We stayed in December when it was very cold and snowing. The room was cold and the heater is not very good. It’s actually the air conditioning unit and it is positioned by the front door to the room, which is a strange position as it’s far from the room itself. So we felt quite cold. The staff did all they can by providing extra blankets. In fact, the staff are very helpful. The location is good and convenient. I do think the owner should invest in an adequate heating system for the room."

"Was staying in this place for a week. Super happy with this hotel and would like to recommend it to stay! The owner super friendly and happy to help with anything, place allowed foreigners and pets! Location right in the local neighborhood and on the next street have so many restaurants with a good local cuisine. If you want to go to the ancient town - it’s take 15 mins on electric bike, so everything what you need just here. Highly recommend it to stay!"

"Simple, clean, comfortable stay in Kashgar. Loved my time in the city and this accommodation was good all-round. I was able to check in early on my arrival which really helped. Location is ok, not excellent - it's a 25 minute walk from the entrance to the old town, with some shops etc in between, but taxis are super cheap here so it was easy enough to get around quickly. All in all, very good value for money."
