Guest UserMy recent stay at the Silk Road Rendezvous B&B in Kashgar Old City completely overturned three of my preconceived notions about B&Bs in just a few days.
Change 1: Re-evaluating B&Bs – More than just a place to sleep, it's about living your dream life.
The moment I stepped into their private courtyard, the world instantly quieted down. Outside, there was the vibrant hustle and bustle of the thousand-year-old city, but inside the courtyard, it was a tranquil oasis where time seemed to stand still. Drinking tea and simply relaxing under the big tree, bathed in dappled light, I truly experienced a 'haven in the heart of the city.' This was exactly the Kashgar I'd dreamt of – the B&B itself was a destination.
Change 2: Re-evaluating service managers – From 'call if you need anything' to 'being quietly accompanied and pampered.'
Xiao Mu and Xiao Yue were warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. They even kindly accompanied us on tours of the old city, explaining its history, helping us book show tickets, assisting us in attending a Uyghur wedding, and teaching us Uyghur dances. Their constant care made us feel incredibly warm, surprised, and touched!
Change 3: Re-evaluating accommodations within a scenic area – Who says vibrancy and tranquility can't coexist?
I used to worry that B&Bs in scenic areas would be 'noisy, chaotic, and expensive.' But here, opening the door brings you into the vibrant daily life of the ancient city, while closing it envelops you in the serenity of my private courtyard. It turns out that even in the heart of a scenic area, you can find the blissful feeling of a secluded retreat.
Finally, I want to extend a special thanks to the two managers, Xiao Mu and Xiao Yue.
You transformed 'service' into genuine 'companionship.' One created comfort in the rooms, and the other planted warmth in our hearts. While the beautiful sights and delicious food of Kashgar might eventually fade from memory, your smiles will stay with me forever.

Guest UserIt was a very satisfying living experience. The boss was easygoing and friendly. I also liked the style of the room. There was no peculiar smell, it was very clean, and it was very comfortable to live in. Frankly speaking, this was the most comfortable place I stayed in during my two-week trip to Xinjiang. It had the cleanliness and tidiness of a hotel, but with some human touch, like visiting a friend's home. The most important thing was that I met a little puppy who liked me and I liked him very much too. Next time I come to Xinjiang, I will stay at his house again and visit my little friend.

QianlihongThe room was absolutely gorgeous, with a refreshing color scheme and exquisite furnishings. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the courtyard was beautiful. Staying there felt incredibly wonderful; every day was sunny and bright. The western area wasn't too noisy, and there weren't many people around at midday or in the morning, so I could stroll around at my leisure. The guesthouse's cafe across the street was also very comfortable, and the second floor was quiet with a great view. The guesthouse manager was incredibly kind and helpful 🥰. On my first day, she even helped me with my luggage when I stayed upstairs. Then, on the second day, when I went to have a photoshoot and mentioned having menstrual cramps, she specially went to get me painkillers. This very attentive, meticulous, and kind lady further enhanced my positive impression of the guesthouse. The excellent staff and the wonderful guesthouse made my long journey much more comfortable. I also want to commend the guesthouse for thoughtfully providing earplugs.

Guest UserThe luckiest thing about this trip to Kashgar was booking the Kashgar City Inn guesthouse. The overall experience completely exceeded my expectations, and I want to give it a perfect score in every aspect!
First of all, the owner was incredibly warm and attentive. He communicated with us in advance about our arrival time and thoughtfully arranged airport pick-up and drop-off service. We didn't have to worry about finding transportation after landing; the journey to the guesthouse was smooth and hassle-free. The guesthouse's courtyard was spotless, with every corner meticulously maintained. Stepping into the courtyard, you could immediately feel the comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The ethnic-style deluxe double room we stayed in was spacious, decorated with a strong Uyghur flavor, and the bedding was soft and the facilities were complete. The comfort was top-notch. Compared to similar accommodations around the Old City, the price here was affordable and reasonable, offering excellent value for money.
The most unforgettable surprise of this trip was the owner's enthusiastic invitation to witness an authentic Uyghur local wedding. Immersed in the genuine customs of the Western Regions, we experienced firsthand the sincere and pure hospitality of the local people. We truly felt the unique inclusiveness, simplicity, and warm hospitality of the Uyghur people – a unique cultural experience that money can hardly buy.
Throughout the trip, whether it was assisting with travel or answering daily inquiries, the owner was patient and kind, without the slightest perfunctory attitude. The clean environment, comfortable rooms, thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service, coupled with the rare cultural experience, made it impeccable in every aspect. It was undoubtedly the best guesthouse I've stayed in during my travels. This stay was absolutely worthwhile, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Kashgar – you won't be disappointed!

Guest UserHad a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent; it's just outside the Old Town but perfectly situated between the East and West districts, making it super convenient to get to either. The room was clean, tidy, and had a cozy feel. The front desk staff saw we had two large suitcases and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room for free. Plus, they reimbursed 20 yuan for our taxi to the airport since we weren't driving. Overall, truly wonderful!

Guest UserThe hotel is situated right within the old city, requiring guests to pass through a security check and then walk a short distance to reach it. For those with a lot of luggage, the hotel can arrange for staff assistance. The overall design has a distinctly Xinjiang feel, offering an immersive experience of traditional Southern Xinjiang residential architecture. The interiors are well-appointed, and there's a terrace providing excellent views of the ancient city. However, parking is inconvenient as the entrance to the old city is often crowded with people and traffic.

I have stayed at other Campanile in China, Beijing and Shanghai and i love it so i choose this at Khasgar but i am disappointed with the amenities, breakfast, room and cleanliness.
First they give us wrong type of room instead of superior room they given comfort room.
I was asking what type of room on my room number, she just said it is correct room as staff given. When i show the room we got with the picture on the web, staff suddenly silent.
There is no body lotion in the room, as i had experience at other Campanile. There is AC in the room but when we want to make room cold, staff said the AC only for warmer so what he offered was to open the window.
Can you imagine? While we felt hot inside the room, but AC can only for warmer and at that time dust storm just happened so you can feel dust everywhere and can hear also people talking outside as window open. Along the corridor also dirty especially the area of lobby, restaurant, and lift. Breakfast only offered Chinese buffet, no coffee machine, no dessert, no yoghurt, no western food. I was really satisfied with breakfast at other Campanile.

This hotel is in a very convenient location. Close to Id Kah mosque and right in the heart of old Kasghar. Breakfast is limited and served only 9 to 10 am. Don't expect coffee. They try the best they can, but even instant coffee is a huge deal. Soymilk, they serve at breakfast, but if you ask for coffee, they dont serve bu try to provide. You still might want to skip that. Nice receptionist. I communicated through translation apps. They have translation apps on their phones, too
Check-in was a huge deal. I am guessing it is the same in every hotel in China. If you are looking for a clean bed in a central location, don't expect too much this is for you. They provide all bathroom amenities. I would stay here again.

The B&B experience I booked in Kashgar this time was great! The location is close to Khan Bazaar, which is very convenient for travel. The B&B has very ethnic characteristics, and people can feel the strong local customs as soon as they enter. In terms of hygiene, it is very clean and tidy, and the rooms and public areas are kept spotless. The facilities are relatively complete and have everything you need, making it very comfortable to live in. In short, this B&B is extremely cost-effective and highly recommended to everyone. Don’t miss it when traveling to Kashgar. 💯
