TTravis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that.
She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met.
It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here.
Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed.
While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information.
The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate).
The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean.
Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever.

PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

TtanyongchooStayed for 4 nights in total. Good breakfast at restaurant at L1. Had Chinese dinner once at restaurant at L1, quality food. Wanda shopping centre nearby. Easy for transport to airport as carpark is infront of hotel. Room was comfortable. However need to get cab to East gate (about cny 8). Walkable to west gate. Pleasant waiting area behind reception while waiting for transport to airport.

GGuest UserAfter landing in Kashgar, I had a happy day of playing. At night, I suddenly developed acute gastritis. The Uyghur girl named Zuli at the front desk accompanied me to the hospital for examination and prescription until after three in the morning. I really felt the feeling of home. The strange city, strange people, and cold night made my heart feel warm. It turned out that more than 3,000 kilometers away from home, there were still people lighting flashlights for me. ”She could have just called a taxi for me, but she treated me, a stranger, as a family member.” Huazhu is highly recommended!

SSyed AnoshI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. They even provided a convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the airport, which made my travel experience much easier. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment after a long journey. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality throughout my stay. WWINDWARDIIThe location of the hotel is fantastic. Transportation is convenient and it is located at the entrance of Gucheng old city. There are many restaurants and shopping places around. The hotel front desk uncle and aunt are very friendly and active. Very cheap and clean. For backpackers, it is as comfortable as at home. If I come to Kashgar again, I would like to stay at this hotel.

SShakil AhmadFrom the airport the taxi driver did not know location of JinJiang Inn. After showing him the address we drove on Turman Road but still couldnt find it. We rang the hotel and the taxi drive droped me off in the vicinity. I walked around for a while asking but few people knew the whereabouts. Finally i saw a small signage and turned into the courtyard and there was JinJiang Inn. Later I found out there is a huge sign at ther top of the building but for padestrian traffic its difficult to notice. So perhaps a more conspicouse signage will be helpful. Rooms are brand new and towels clean and replinished every day. The bathroom facilities were great. Breakfast , If you are not a Chinese Traveller i recommend save your money by not buying the breakfast selection as nothing there caters for foriengers. But if you are Chinese the selection is sumptious. Some slices of bread and jam would cater for western taste buds. Location is great. Kunlun Tower is walking distance and so is the Ancient city of Ashgar. The front desk receptionist are really helpful for someone like me who doesn't speak Mandarin. I enjoyed my stay with very little complains. For the price its a value for money accomodation.

GGuest UserWe stayed in December when it was very cold and snowing. The room was cold and the heater is not very good. It’s actually the air conditioning unit and it is positioned by the front door to the room, which is a strange position as it’s far from the room itself. So we felt quite cold. The staff did all they can by providing extra blankets. In fact, the staff are very helpful. The location is good and convenient. I do think the owner should invest in an adequate heating system for the room.
