This is our 4th time in this hotel, as we have loved it in the past, and it has deteriorated considerably. The elevator is no longer working, which is painful for a 7 story hotel. It's also not well maintained, it's age showing. Several burnt lightbulbs, everything is old and dusty. There is also considerable noise from the street below during all hours of day and night.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staffs were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. and the location was perfect which was located in the heart of Kathmandu(THAMEL)

Unfortunately we couldn't stay here as the elevator wasn't working and we needed it. The hotel staff understood our issue and helped us to initiate the refund. They also helped us with letting us know nearby hotels and get the luggage moved to a new hotel.

Absolutely filthy hotel with a smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors. Bathroom had a leak so the floor was always wet and smelt. Thin and cheap towels. Bed did not look clean. Our rooms were not ready on arrival despite arriving well after check in time. There used to be a great hotel down the road with the same name (10 years ago) that closed, this hotel is trying to use that Hotel's reputation. Don't believe the positive reviews, it may be cheap but it's not worth staying here.

The hotel has gone down since the pandemic. stayed there on recommendation from friend, who had stayed x 2 before the pandemic. The friend was with me on this trip. Looking at the hotel, says it has been let to rundown. the towels were all worn out, the toiletries was very limited and even after asking several times, was not given. This used to be a good hotel, but has run down. I will say it has now become a 1-2 star hotel on the positive side, the staff were friendly the hot water did not run out, breakfast was pay as you go- had good options and not expensive. Location is very good and price is very reasonable as well. so if you have got limited budget- not a bad place will i stay here again- NO

Excellent hotel at prime location but staff shortage clearly visible..Foods were delicious & priced reasonably. Due to pandemic occupancy was bit low.. A great place to stay when in town for sure.....
