Very good. I stayed here for 4 days in a row. It was a bit noisy but the location was very convenient and the front desk was very friendly. (The price when you arrive locally and book a hotel is 55 US dollars, about 400rmb)

Wow this hotel was a slice of tranquility in the middle of a wild chaotic and beautiful city. Stayed here before and after a basecamp trek and i can't say how amazing the big soft beds were after 21 days up in the mountains. Staff was really accommodating and friendly and the rooms were clean and well appointed. Price is fantastic as well! The food at the restaurant was also delicious and the courtyard was a wonderful place to enjoy a warm Kathmandu evening. I hope i get the chance to visit again!

Quaint and comfortable hotel in the middle of the Thamel area. Great location for shopping. We were a family of three in a triple (single beds) room which had plenty of room. Shower quite small but plenty of hot water.

We were luckily housed here at Thamel House by our EBC Trek outfitter company, Ace the Himalayas. We walked in and immediately felt comfortable and at home. The location is excellent in the Thamel district and surprisingly quiet, even though it's in a busy area. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The restaurant served good food with a thorough menu, and breakfast was refreshing and delicious. The rooms were great! Simple, yet beautiful furnishings with clean, crisp linens served as a very inviting welcome! Lovely, affordable and highly recommended.

A really comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. Large, quiet rooms. Lovely courtyard restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of outdoor gear shops and a great bakery nearby. Bottled drinking water, loo paper supplied. Small and adequate buffet breakfast with egg station.
