Great boutique hotel in good location with very nice rooms, superb service , a very good Italian restaurant on site. A plus is the interesting crowd staying in this hotel. It is probably an insider tip for frequent Kathmandu visitors. I will stay also the next time again here at Nomad hotel

Nomads was our home away from home for 2 weeks I was recommened to Nomads from a great friend of mine but it didn't disappoint us , staffs were very friendly housekeeping everyday, best granola for breakfast which i enjoyed every morning with my coffee ,i have 2 fussy kids and different types breaky everyday was a plus point so that they have varities , did i mention very caring and helpful staff, we enjoyed our stay just in the heart of city ,walking distance to so many good eateries and shops, very resonable price too ! Thank you for making our stay so welcoming.

The Nomad Hotel is in a cluster with a couple of other hotels in a really lovely neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. It’s next-door to the Radisson, which is a great landmark for taxi drivers. The staff in the hotel are excellent. They all spoke English along with several other languages and were helpful no matter what kind of request we had at what kind of hour. Both my friend and I stayed in rooms on the first floor, called the cozy rooms. They both had a queen size bed, and the usual amenities. There is a safe in the closet where I could leave my passport and extra cash without worry. The bed was comfortable and the room was just what I needed as a homebase for exploring. The music in the courtyard in the morning was audible in the room, but once I asked the front desk staff if it was possible to turn it down until later in the morning, this was an easy thing to fix. The rooms on the first floor were up a short flight of stairs, but there is an elevator in this hotel. Breakfast was included with the room, and it was always good, no matter what we ordered. I often had oa**eal, but I also learned that they made the best waffles that I’ve ever had. The rooms were extremely reasonable in price, but this is partially a function of the great exchange rate to USD. They brought 2 huge bottles of water every day, whether they clean the room or not, which was great, because the water is not drinkable in Nepal for foreigners. I absolutely recommend staying here.

During Breakfast chef and waiter were talking too loud, it felt like they were talking to ours outfit. Which make me really annoyed 😡 After check out we kept our luggage’s on store and came back to take it they didn’t show any good behaviour as beginning check in. Which shows lizard 🦎 face on them. And also tried to claim weight machine without knowing who took it. 👎🏿 Lastly, they don’t change the dental kit every day.

I stayed in Nomad hotel for about three weeks in October 2023 and I must say that my stay was very pleasant and I had a beautiful experience .Even though this hotel is located at the heart of Kathmandu, it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotels a**osphere is very peaceful and pleasant. There is a lovely small front patio which has a touch of greenery and has a lovely ambience where one can enjoy either their first coffee of the day or a nice drink in the evening . All the staffs in the hotel including front desks, waiter, waitresses, house keeping, guard man were all very kind , polite, professional and provided excellent service. Must say that this hotel has a beautiful modern Scandinavian decor and I fell in love with the decor. The rooms were good sized and spacious enough for 2 person. However the only thing that needs a bit of attention is that the tiles in the shower could have been a bit cleaner. There were black marks in between the tiles which may have developed over time. Thanks to the NOMAD family , couldn't have asked for a better experience 🤗. I have and will be definately recommending this place to my family and friends . Will definately visit Nomad when I am back in Nepal.

This property was superb. A boutique hotel tucked into the end of a street keeping it far enough from all the car honking that you don’t hear it. Restaurant and bar on property are tasteful and staff was absolutely amazing

I stayed here for a week while attending a conference at the Radisson Hotel which is just across the road. I'm so glad that I made the choice to stay here rather than the conference venue. So many reasons why, including the following: 1) The staff are a standout. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a warm smile and was eager to help. Stand outs were Dolma and Sarita but honestly everyone was wonderful 2) I felt safe and relaxed in the middle of busy Kathmandu. I ate most of my meals in the courtyard and enjoyed hearing the birds each day. I dind't expect my stay in Kathmandu to be so rejuvenating! 3) The food was incredible! The a la carte breakfast menu (including in the room cost) was extensive for such a small hotel and every I ate was delicious - my favourite was the chai masala granola. I ate dinner most nights at Piano Piano the inhouse restaurant and loved everything. It was unexpected to eat such good Itailan food in the middle of Nepal! I even brought my colleagues who were staying at the Radisson here for dinner one night as the food was so much better than where they were staying. 4) I stayed in a compact room that had everything I needed. 4 litres of bottled water was provided each day which was very helpful. 5) The location is close to things without being too busy. A walked to the Thamel area in about 20 minutes (just be careful crossing the road!). There are a number of small shops on the small stree next to the hotel so even if you don't have time to get to Thamel, you can shop for clothes and souvenirs nearby. I wish another trip to Nepal was on the horizon so that I could visit again. Thanks so much to all the staff.

Perfect little hotel. Easy walk to Thamel, but totally secluded spot. Safe, clean, comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was awesome. We ate dinner at the attached restaurant and it was pretty good, but the hotel itself is totally worth it

A lovely hotel in a great location just walking distance to The tourist area of Thamel. The staff were wonderful and looked after me well, and the restaurant is great. They do a wonderful coffee. I look forward to staying again soon when I'm back from the mountains.
