We could not be happier with our decision to stay at Hotel Family Ties in Kathmandu. The host Mr. Narayan and his staff are always willing to help and do their very best to ensure their guests have an exceptional stay. Mr. Narayan gave us extremely useful advice for our trekking plans and pointed us in all the right directions. Our room was clean, comfortable and met all our needs perfectly. In the mornings we were served fresh and delicious breakfasts. The hotel is also in a great location in Thamel and central to many tourist services. We would highly recommend Hotel Family Ties.

We had to move out of another hotel because it was full and let the hotel manager Narayan show us the rooms beforehand. He was very friendly and accommodating and we absolutely loved the rooms! Very clean and spacious rooms! Also with enough space to pack the luggage for the next trekking tour. The lighting is very good throughout the room. There is also a large table to work well with the laptop. There are enough power sockets everywhere in the room and the WiFi is fast and reliable and works even if the electricity should go out in Kathmandu! The room has air conditioning and the bathroom is very well equipped, of course with a hot shower. The location is quiet, you can sleep very well at night even with the window open. No traffic noise penetrates the rooms. Narayan also runs the agency Unique waymaker treks & expedition. He knows Nepal very well and can organize tours throughout the country. I will be happy to stay at the Family Ties Hotel again in Kathmandu. Conclusion: the hotel offers top value for money and has a very competent, friendly and helpful hotel manager in Narayan.

One of the best places to say in Kathmandu, staying at Family ties felt like being a part of a family, the staff is amazing and helpful , the food is really good and the room is very clean, the rooftop is amazing, I recommend Family ties hotel to anyone who wants to have a good time.

Really professional and helpful staff. They arranged transport for us multiple times and were happy to guide us when we had questions. Very comfortable rooms with nice balconies. The location was also great and most things in Kathmandu were accessible easily from here. Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight. Would definitely recommend.

We stay here 7 nights in 2023 november. We arrived with my friend from Hungary. Everything was very good. Excellent hotel and staff. We recomennd this hotel to everybody. We will come back later if possible.

It was really one of my Amazing Trip with family to visit Kathmandu, Nepal. Hotel Family Ties Pvt. Ltd. provides wonderful services, staff was very cooperative. Moreover, Mr. Narayan Thapa, owner of the Hotel is very helpful and down to earth personality. Food was delicious. One of the nice hotel located at Kaldhara Marg and Thamel Market is easily accessible.

The hotel is very clean..one day when I came back from pokhara... Not sure where the bus stop, so i borrowed phone from the locals and call the hotel. The owner come and pick me up.. The staff is friendly and helpful. Welcome drink is also served in the hotel..
