Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates).
Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information.
Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean!
I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.

Relatively standard five-star hotel, no special features, much worse than Dwarika, the same price will be much lower; stayed here for two nights, moved to Dwarika for one night, the difference is not the same Small.

Great location, lovely facilities and wonderful staff. We stayed here before and after our 14 day trek of the Annapurna Circuit. It was a wonderful experience, staff were very helpful, we were able to leave our bags at the hotel and only brought what was needed for the trek. On our return we were welcomed back and we spend another 2 nights which helped us to recover. When our flights were cancelled due to the flooding in Dubai, the hotel arranged another hotel for us as they were fully booked. We would really recommend the Yak and Yeti as a peaceful place to stay. Breakfast was great too!

Had heard of Yak & Yeti when I was a young boy and always wanted to visit Nepal and stay at the Yak & Yeti and Soaltee ---- which I finally did at age 75. The hospitality is outstanding and the staff all smiling. helpful and courteous. Ms. Shreeya at the reception deserves special mention.
