Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa (Adults Only)

This was my first time at the amazing Stella Island, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations! I had heard so many great things about this place, but nothing could have prepared me for how stunning it truly is. The photos really don’t do it justice—this hotel is something you need to experience firsthand. And the way it transforms from day to night? Simply magical! From the moment we arrived, I felt like I had stepped into paradise. We were warmly greeted by Aris and Nikos, who took such good care of us throughout our stay. Aris has a heart of gold, and it was such a pleasure getting to know him better during our little trips around the hotel. The entire team was incredibly helpful, always there to assist us with our moves and daily routines. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and care! The reception team was equally wonderful, always smiling and so welcoming. Every interaction with them was lovely—efficient, friendly, and always ready to help. It’s a great feeling when you’re remembered and treated like family. We stayed in a room with a Premium Pool View near the Makuti side, and it was perfect! Spacious, spotless, and with the most comfortable beds. Makuti was our go-to spot for sunbathing, and the team there made every day special. Rania and her team were a joy to be around—her attention to detail is unmatched, and I loved catching up with her. George, with his calming presence, and Yannis made sure we were never without one of their amazing cocktails. And let’s not forget Yanni, who was always around, making sure everything was perfect. The drinks and food there were excellent! The food overall was exceptional—definitely a highlight of the trip! Lunch at the buffet was great, and the fish lunch at Vegera was top-notch. But La Parilla stole the show for both lunch and dinner. The meals were incredible, and the service was just as amazing. Johanna’s team is truly the best. Eleni, George, and Emerlito made every meal special, with their warm energy and flawless service. Kostis, the bartender, kept the good vibes going with his stories and perfect cocktails. Our evenings at Paraiso were a blast, too! Antonis and Sofia made the best cocktails—Sofia’s margaritas are to die for, and Antonis’ Margaritas are next level! Maria, Katerina, and Xaris were also a delight—super attentive and always ready with a smile. The entertainment was top-tier, the shows blew me away this year. Breakfast was another daily highlight, with a tough decision to make every morning between the buffet and La Parilla. Special shoutout to the lovely lady at the buffet and Lenti at La Parilla for starting our mornings off with great service and friendly faces. Wow, what can we say. Stella Island is aesthetically stunning! We were welcomed late in the evening with a cocktail and introduction to the app to check in. We were escorted to our rooms to a bottle of bubbly and some sandwiches and cakes due to our really late arrival (midnight) which was truly welcomed. We woke the next morning ready to face the day with our breakfast and to sit outside our swim up bungalow. This is where we noticed some flaws in the hotel. When in the swim up rooms, the waiting on service for drinks is non-existent. We had to go and get our own due to being consistently ignored. The team were doing a great job in serving the others on sun loungers but we almost felt punished for having a private room. We tried to reserve dinner in the restaurants across the resort, unfortunately only able to book one restaurant the whole week which we were really disappointed about. It was impossible to book via the app, there were simply no spaces. If we went to reception, we personally felt like inconveniences to them which I'm sure wasn't the case but we sure felt like it. The app crashed nearly every time we went onto it which was frustrating but didn't materially affect our holiday. One of our biggest gripes was that until our penultimate night at the hotel, we weren't told that we had an upgraded drinks list. My husband loves Corona beer and hadn't ordered it because of the price per bottle. It was just by chance that evening that he decided to just pay for one and when we didn't have to sign to say we would pay for it we were confused. We wondered if it was something to do with having it with a meal so when we went to the bar in front of reception, a kind waiter advised we should have been told this from day one. We definitely weren't. We even headed to the white store to buy a couple of bottles as they were cheaper and he enjoys them. You can imagine how shocked we were that we hadn't been told for 5 out of our 7 nights there!!! This leads me on to the food. It was lovely. Despite only getting into one restaurant (Paraiso which was incredible) we ate in the buffet restaurant every other evening. The food was really good and we had no complaints. Waiting on staff were also really attentive and we were really happy to eat in there, if somewhat disappointed that we couldn't get into the restaurants. Breakfast was also good, we recommend opting for the Kimara buffet for breakfast. Our only gripe with the food as has already been mentioned is the lack of snacks available. If you want an ice cream it's impossible to find which was really disappointing. I don't know of any other all inclusive resort that doesn't offer bar snacks?! We did enjoy our time at Stella Island but we would not be recommending it to our friends. The luxury price tag (of over £950/day for us) unfortunately isn't met with a luxury experience. Crack-a-lacking ! Superb so far ! Entertaining and good service well worth a visit at any time of the year ! All the restaurants have been perfect so far. Lovely walk along the beach with is 3 minutes away, drinks choice is brilliant ! Pool is superb ! More lady’s in bikinis needed ;)

A beautiful resort - extremely relaxing and quiet at this time. The sun was shining all day but the evenings were colder so definitely bring a jacket. The food was lovely - the a la carte restaurants made the holiday. The buffet was excellent but could get repetitive. The only downside was the service was a bit slow with drinks. Sometimes they would forget that you had ordered them. But this was only when at the beach beds. Not at any of the bars! Would definitely return.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing both in the buffet breakfast and lunch as well as the booked in advance dinners. The pool area in front of our swim up was amazing and right by the bar so it made it very easy. I recommend this resort to all.

Amazing adult-only resort! I arrived with a small group of ladies and we were all smiles. The staff was welcoming. Nick (grounds driver staff) was very accommodating to all of us. The resort grounds and nightly entertainment were nothing but the best. There are various room categories and some bathrooms are better than others. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a variety of selections and it tasted good. The next store resort is their family (waterpark) resort. We visited there and it was amazing as well.
