Great location and we could walk and take the bus everywhere.

Stayed in the two bedroom unit. Kitchen has all the basics. Good beds and two bathrooms. Walls dirty but otherwise very clean unit. You can hear some noice from the street but it didn’t bother us. The unit has one window to look out and one that has coloured glass so you can’t see through and this makes the unit dark. We didn’t care because we just needed a place to sleep and enjoyed the sceneries all day out hiking. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Our experience was not as imagined. Lesson learned that we should have not trusted online photos or reviews. PROS Easy check-in. The receptionist is friendly and provided great restaurant recommendations. Easy walk from the train station, less than 10 minutes. Great location. Easy access to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We like to walk, so we didn't mind walking to the Blue Mountain viewing points. Easy to take the train to Leura. Quiet. Small kitchenette that had everything we needed. CONS Our room was on the second floor. There is no elevator or anyone available to carry the luggage to the room. The room was clean, but poorly maintained. There hasn't been any updating in years. It's obvious that management is not concerned about making the room pleasant. Carpet is heavily stained not only in the room, but also in the hallway. The water is lukewarm at best. When I reported this to the receptionist she stated it was because of the high occupancy. The toilet "ran" continuously. I also reported this after our first night and was told it would be reported. It wasn't fixed during our stay. The constant noise was irritating. The hotel restaurant is closed.

The accomodation is on the main road and close to Katoomba station (within a 10 min walk). There is parking on site and it is a quick drive to Echo Point to see the famous Three Sisters. A breakfast buffet was included in our stay at a partnered accomodation opposite the station. It was like visiting an aunty or grandma's place and provided a home-like feel. This gave us a good start to the morning. They have shampoo and body soap, but no conditioner (maybe on request but we didn't try this). We booked a room for two adults but we only received one body towel and no floor mat/towel (so bring your own towel or ask them for extra). I would stay here again.

Really nice. shower gel in the bath wasnt refilled but not a big deal. Faint smell near toilet but not too bad. overall good. will definitely come back.

Decided to go away for the night, picked this motel because it is close to everything, plus you can get a good buffet breakfast down at the metropole on gang gang st for $15 bargain. Good size room with spa bath, but some of the jets were not working, plus the size of the room you get a little tv,the place is also quiet, have stayed once before.
