"Great location in a peaceful, leafy area — perfect for a relaxing Blue Mountains stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though a bit dated. The gardens are lovely and add to the charm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some areas could use an update, and Wi-Fi can be patchy, but overall good value for a quiet getaway."

"This was a relatively well furnished hotel in the Blue Mountains area where there isn't a lot of choice. The dark interior design may not be for everyone but I thought it was rather modern chic while retaining the classic character of the property. Shame that we couldn't book larger rooms (not sure if they're even available or not) so we had to book two rooms for our family of three. The fireside bar was very nice serving delicious cocktails. The breakfast has a stunning panoramic view and the food selection was fair. I would recommend this hotel more for couples, but we still had a nice stay overall."

"What a great place for your stay. Super convenient location, nice staff and clean amenities. Beds weren’t the comfiest of my life, but still fine. Kitchen was good and big and there’s a homey feel to the place. Grocery store right beside so easy to just make your own food! Love the movie night here"

The hotel also has a self-service laundry room, though it's a shame there's no restaurant for ordering meals. The staff were very enthusiastic, and it's definitely car-friendly!"

"It takes 10 minutes on foot from katoomba station where there are restaurants and shops. It is basically a hotel targeted at car tourists. In the hotel, there is only one person at the front desk, and the service hours are limited, so pay attention to the check-in and check-out times. The room was very clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and it was difficult to adjust the temperature."

"Our group of five stayed at Katoomba Blue Cottage for one night, and we were all extremely satisfied with the experience! The house is spacious, not at all cramped for five people, ensuring everyone had a comfortable space to relax. The interior design is warm and unique, with a charming vintage feel that made us feel relaxed and on vacation the moment we walked in. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we even cooked a simple meal together, which was very convenient. The living room was also perfect for us to gather, chat, and play games, creating one of the best memories of our trip. The beds were comfortable and clean, and it was very quiet at night, so everyone slept wonderfully. The location is also great; the surroundings are peaceful, and it's easy to get around by car. The host provided clear information, and the check-in process was smooth, making the overall experience very thoughtful. It's ideal for friends or families staying together, offering both privacy and shared spaces. If we get the chance to visit Katoomba again, we will definitely choose this place!"

"As soon as you step into this hotel, it feels like you have gone back to the old times, because the hotel has many years of history and has a retro feel. The scenery outside the restaurant window is very beautiful and worth the money. The only drawback is that the transportation is not very convenient. If you have a car, there is free parking, but I don’t have a car, so I can only take the slope from Katoomba Railway Station to the hotel. It is recommended to come here by car."

"The staff was very accommodating. We arrived early for check-in, and the receptionist kindly allowed us to use the vacant room I had booked. Since I was with my family, this made things much easier—we were able to explore the area without carrying all our bags around. The room was clean, and the location was perfect—close to everything and very accessible. We had a great day and would definitely stay here again!"
