"Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Small bar fridge and table with 2 chairs. Lovely shower. Close to main attractions and on good bus route. Toast and spread for breakfast included as well as cereal and an apple. Host at front desk very pleasant."

"Second visit, I went there once in 2016. The hotel is located in the valley, so quiet that you can hear your own breathing, and you dare not speak loudly. The mountains are full of negative ions, which is just right for cleansing the lungs and adjusting the body and mind. It is amazing that the sunflower parrots ask guests for food. Australian animals and people live in peace, which shows that the charm of nature is infinite. My mother also performed a set of Tai Chi in the valley, leaving very precious memories. I will come again"

Kurrara Historic Guest House

"We stayed at Kurrara Hotel Guesthouse as a last-minute booking due to limited availability, but it ended up being a really enjoyable stay. One of the highlights was learning about the history of the property when we arrived, including its origins as a retreat and recovery place for visitors from Sydney. That historical charm gave the stay a unique atmosphere. The guesthouse had several quiet lounge and sitting areas to relax in, which added to the experience, although we only stayed one night and had limited time to fully enjoy everything before checkout. A major bonus for us was the EV charging station, which made travelling with our electric car much easier. The location was also very convenient — around a 10-minute walk to the Three Sisters lookout area and another short walk into town for dinner and cafes. Breakfast was simple but good, although quite busy since the hotel was full and breakfast was only served during a short time window. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay, and we would definitely consider staying there again."

"My wife and l spent 2 wonderful days exploring the blue mountains region for a special anniversary trip and we were lucky enough to find a hidden gem for our accommodation.The Chalet Guest House was everything we could have wanted. Beautifully appointed rooms with antique furniture and wonderful artwork adorning all of the walls.After a very restful sleep we woke to one of the best appointed continental breakfast you would ever wish for with the added bonus of a cooked breakfast at a very modest surcharge which was served in an old world dining room full of wonderful art and antiques with the local parrots feeding and performing for the guests while we enjoyed our wonderful breakfast. The owners of the Chalet the two Davids were lovely hosts who were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Anyone looking for accommodation around Medlow Bath could not go wrong choosing a very comfortable room at The Chalet Guest House. Thankyou to our wonderful hosts for making our stay so memorable.
