Katoomba Hotels with Parking

This was the most hostel-ly hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Truly a blast to the past. It was about a 15/20 minute walk to the sisters lockout. The walk back is up a hill, but there is a bus. I thought it was cute that there was a movie on at 8pm every night, and you can request/suggest a film using the form at reception. My only suggestion is adding some plug sockets next to each bunkbed.

We stayed at Kurrara Hotel Guesthouse as a last-minute booking due to limited availability, but it ended up being a really enjoyable stay. One of the highlights was learning about the history of the property when we arrived, including its origins as a retreat and recovery place for visitors from Sydney. That historical charm gave the stay a unique atmosphere. The guesthouse had several quiet lounge and sitting areas to relax in, which added to the experience, although we only stayed one night and had limited time to fully enjoy everything before checkout. A major bonus for us was the EV charging station, which made travelling with our electric car much easier. The location was also very convenient — around a 10-minute walk to the Three Sisters lookout area and another short walk into town for dinner and cafes. Breakfast was simple but good, although quite busy since the hotel was full and breakfast was only served during a short time window. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay, and we would definitely consider staying there again.

No hot water on the second day! No hot water on the second day! No hot water on the second day! The stay itself was spacious, though the bed was just okay, perhaps the electric blanket made it feel hard and a bit uncomfortable. It had air conditioning and a balcony. Aside from that, the location is great, right in the center of Leura village next to delicious pizza and ice cream. It's a 6-minute drive to Katoomba center and 12 minutes to the Scenic World (cable car station). It's also right off the highway exit, and there's a Woolworths supermarket nearby. There's an indoor car park, and they'll give you a remote control key for it. Everything else was good, except for the hot water issue.

Convenient location with lots of restaurants nearby! Room is spacious! Downside — it’s a little dirty in the toilet, especially the bathtub and sink area, water pressure is low and amenities are limited. Thankfully, customer service made up for it. Special shoutout to Michelle, who was super friendly and helpful! Thank you for helping us with our luggage (heritage hotel, no lift)!

This motel is exactly what it said online. Convenient and quiet location to go to the Scenic World and main towns in the Blue Mountains area. Very friendly staff at reception upon arrival. Spacious and clean room and facilities. We had a very cozy stay, thank you!

Perfect location, right in the town center, close to two supermarkets. A bit dated, but clean.

I booked this hotel for our 5-year anniversary, as we thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate, with a nice location, great views, and the chance to enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Since only garden-view rooms were available on Trip.com, we booked one, and I also mentioned in the notes that it was for our anniversary. While we weren’t expecting an upgrade, we were disappointed to find our room’s “view” was almost completely blocked by a large tree. For a special occasion, I had hoped for at least a small gesture or a nicer placement of the room. The restaurant staff were friendly, but it was clear they struggled when things got busy, which affected the overall dining experience. Finally, at checkout, we weren’t even asked how our stay was, which left us feeling undervalued as guests. For what was meant to be a memorable anniversary, the experience fell short of expectations.

The hotel is the oldest house in the town, and it has a lot of history. The hall below is open as a public space, and it feels especially good to drink wine by the fireplace at night. It is within walking distance of the train station, but it is in the opposite direction of the town's commercial street. If you are alone, it is a bit panic to walk back to the hotel at night. The advantage is that it is very quiet.

In town and near Woolworths. Very easy if you need to shop for anything. Also not very far from the train station with restaurants and cafes along the way.  Staff are friendly and room is nice and comfortable. Would recommend ☺️

The reception is in the nearby 100-meter motel, which is not convenient. I didn't find it at first, and I made two calls in the free phone booth inside the parking lot outside the room. The rooms are small but well equipped. Opposite is the echo point shopping center, and 200 meters ahead is the echo point observatory, the scenery is great.
