Holiday in Blue Mountains and this was just an overnight stopover. Room was clean and functional - exactly what you would expect from a reasonable motel. Location is a bit out of Katoomba but only a 10 min drive into town to eat. Check-in was quick and easy. Didn't eat in the hotel.

The main positive was that although the building was dated, it was very clean. I didn't interact with the reception person except at check-in. The location was not easily walkable to the CBD which is where we went to eat for breakfast and dinner. It was disappointing that the restaurant was closed.

It takes 10 minutes on foot from katoomba station where there are restaurants and shops. It is basically a hotel targeted at car tourists. In the hotel, there is only one person at the front desk, and the service hours are limited, so pay attention to the check-in and check-out times. The room was very clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and it was difficult to adjust the temperature.

This motel is in a good location, very close to Leura town and the Three Sisters, but the only downside is that all rooms are close to the roadside, and there is the sound of big trucks at night, which is quite disturbing to sleep. It is not recommended to stay here if you have sleep problems. This hotel does not need to pay a deposit. After booking online, you can check in directly. The hotel facilities are quite complete. At night, there is air conditioning, hot water, and it is not cold. The facilities are relatively old, basically it has not been renovated for more than ten years. But $100 a night is still a good deal

We stayed at the Alpine Motel at Katoomba because we were visiting a patient in the nearby hospital. The room was very good, spacious and clean. The walkways were not immaculately clean and the carpark was showing its age but we have seen much worse in recent years. We will quite likely stay there again.
