Das Motel ist sehr nahe an dem Touristen-Hotspot von Katoomba gelegen, den Three Sisters. Dadurch ist es allerdings auch etwas weiter vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, ca. 30min zu Fuß bis zum Bahnhof und den vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Die Zimmer sind alle neu renoviert und hübsch eingerichtet. Zudem gibt es außen vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und sogar eine BBQ-Ecke.
Leider fehlen größere Mülleimer und die Türen zum Innenhof sind etwas hellhörig.
Zum Personal und Service selbst können wir nicht viel sagen, da wir mit diesen nicht viel im Kontakt waren und uns auch selbst Frühstück zubereitet haben. Beim Check-in und Check-out lief alles reibungslos ab.

I’ve stayed here several times, and have found it to be a good affordable option in a great location. Unfortunately my most recent stay has been very negative. Between 9.30pm and 10.30pm there was very loud noise just outside the room, which could be heard with headphones/music on. The same noise started again at 7am the next morning, and I checked out at 7.45am while the noise was still going.
I’ve contacted the hotel to discuss and have had no reply. I called reception three days ago, and was told my messages had been seen and escalated to a supervisor, but I’ve still heard nothing back.
Really poor customer service after a very disrupted stay.

Tables inside room were dusty and left uncleaned. No drinking water inside the room, had to shared kitchen to get it. Good for bagpackers but not for family and couple.

This is a traditional and very well thought out motel with rooms that are practically studio apar**ents and of a decent size, well equipped and with a good bed and sheets. My room was a little tired and worn but also very reasonably price.

Great Katoomba option - you pretty much get exactly what you'd expect. Cheap and cheerful motel just a couple of minutes' walk from Echo Point and some great views. Check-in and check-out quick and easy, very friendly and helpful staff. Beds were comfortable enough and rooms a reasonable size - great budget option for a couple of nights in Katoomba.
