Ibis Kaunas Centre

I stayed at the Ibis Kaunas Centre for two nights and overall had a good experience. The location is a real highlight. It’s very central, about a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, right next to the main bus station, and less than five minutes on foot to the main train station. Getting around Kaunas was easy from here. The room itself was clean and comfortable, exactly what I expect from an Ibis. Everything was in good order and suitable for a short stay. Breakfast was a bit mixed. On the first morning it was extremely busy, with most of the food already gone and no available seating, so I ended up taking breakfast back to my room. The second morning was much better as I went earlier and had no issues at all. The food selection was fine when it was properly stocked. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a clean, practical hotel in a very convenient location, especially for travel connections.

The hotel has its own parking lot, which was an advantage for me. The rooms are standard for Ibis. Anyone who has been to one will probably not be surprised. The staff was helpful and also advised on interesting places to visit.

I loved my stay and should have stayed there much longer, will definitely come back. 😊

To be honest, I'm so disappointed to stay in Ibis, I can't believe I spent 132 euro per night! First, the room is unclean at all, the towel are wrinkled, the spider web is between curtains, some obverse dark spots on pillows, besides no one clean my room at the second day, I was told the cleaner was off for her work. Excuse me?! The soundproofing of the room is very poor, I can hear people was walking in the doorway, I can hear clearly the sounds of opening and closing door, I even can hear someone to snore at my next door

Everything was good. Very convenient, supermarket is just next to the hotel, walking distance to bus station, so many restaurant around the hotel.
