"Do not stay at number 33. The owners are absolutely vile and their behaviour is completely unacceptable. We experienced a leak from the shower — something that was clearly THEIR fault, as their shower does not drain properly, which we later discovered had been mentioned in previous reviews. When we informed them, they arrived screaming at us and even threw wet towels at us. Their attitude was so disgusting and hostile that we left the same night. I will be reporting them on every platform possible to ensure no one else has to deal with this level of abuse from these reprehensible people. On top of that, the property has no toaster, no toilet roll, no cutlery, a cooker that doesn’t work, and, most importantly, a SHOWER THAT LEAKS. Avoid this place at all costs."

"Magnificent location, part of a Baroque monastery built by an Italian architect in the 17th century, boasting the finest Baroque architecture in Lithuania. The Baroque common rooms feature tastefully decorated stucco ceilings. The manager is very friendly and, as the best sommelier in Lithuania, passionate about her work and wine. We had the smallest rooms upstairs, which were very comfortable. We stayed two nights in this timeless haven and have wonderful memories of it. The breakfast was exceptional, served plated in three courses. Dinner is absolutely remarkable (see review in the restaurant section), and the wine pairing menu is an experience not to be missed. A little piece of Italy in Lithuania—congratulations!"
