I like staying here when I come out to photograph the annual sandhill crane migration. A major draw is that they have drive up rooms on the first floor so I don't have to lug camera gear and luggage through a lobby, up stairs, down halls, etc. Though when I got back at 8:00 pm I had to park at the far end of the parking lot. The room was what I'd call "retro" but clean and a decent size, with a king bed with a nice quilt. I like the carpeted floor, not as hard and cold as tile or vinyl. For some reason all the rooms have spring loaded storm doors, that can make it more difficult to enter with a bunch of luggage. Free ice is available in small bags, and they offer coffee, juice and muffins in the morning. Conveniently located, close to many restaurants, bars, gas, etc.
