"We got a smokers room and even when complaining about that and noticing the staff the insisted that this is a smoke free motel. we'll our room wasn't. The old cigarettes laid in front of the broken bug screen. The towels smelled like that two. The motel is old and haven't had any renovation or upgrades in decades. The area is sketchy and we did not feel safe with the windows that did not lock. The bed and aircon are also pretty old and we could not use the aircon during the night because of that. I don't care about cheap motels and we travel pretty basic but this hotel is not worth the money. The breakfast is served in another hotel down the road, Econo Lodge. The unsatisfactory continues here: waffels were the only hot option, no eggs, no gravy, no sausages or beef. If a standard like this is low the breakfast you get here is even lower than that. On top an awfully tasted coffee. Go somewhere else."

"This probably would have been a great place to stay. The issue I had was with Trip/Expedia. As i was looking for a place to stay for a Dr. appointment, somehow on this particular site the date ended up being incorrect and I didn't notice as it had been correct on all the other motels I had looked at but... I knew I had to be there so signed up for a non-refundable night. Didn't catch the incorrect date until after I had approved it. I looked through contact options and they had one listed that said incorrect date, ok should be no problem, I will just change the date and still stay there. The site said they had to contact the merchant, ok I can see that, I knew the night I NEEDED to stay was more expensive but was ok with that. Got a message saying the merchant wasn't going to allow me to change as it was a non-refundable night, I wasn't trying to not stay there just change the date. I happened to be in the town so I stopped at the motel and talked with the manager and was told that they couldn't change it without the approval of Trip/Expedia hmm guess they must be the "merchant" rather than the hotel. So I "donated" the cost of a room to some corporation. So Trip/Expedia for what it's worth I will not be using you again for any travel."

"There's a children's swimming pool, and lots of kids and parents were playing there. The hotel is huge, and the swimming pool is huge too. There's a lake across the street, and the area is still under construction. You can walk around the surrounding area, but there's not much to see or do."

"This was a nice little hotel near many good restaurants. At first when we first checked in, the concierge was crabby, but when our rooms A/C wasn't working, he came up checked it out thoroughly and said he could put us into another room once he checked the other rooms A/C to make sure it was working. It was a smaller room, but during a heat wave with A/C, it was great!"

"The manager was so disrespectful and talking down to me, when I asked to check in early. He was mad and yelling at me. I decided not to stay and went and got another hotel that was respectful to me in every way, and checked in early with no issues and no extra fee. I would recommend to ever stay with your hotel with that person in charge. I should be able to get my money back after being treated in the manner I was. But was afraid to ask as he was so angry. But it would be nice for management to see if got a full refund."
