Close to the airport, in a small town, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel facilities are simple

Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

As far as I can tell, this hotel exists for the purpose of hosting guests with cancelled flights or missed connections at nearby KEF airport who had to stay overnight. That described me and everyone else here. The hotel is incredibly basic. Barely staffed. No amenities except a small restaurant bar. No decorations in rooms or halls. No shampoo. No elevator - hope you can carry your suitcase up three flights. The room itself was clean. It had a balcony overlooking the sea, though it was rusting and paint was peeling. It did have a fridge and TV. The bed was adequate and I was only there for a night. It was fine for that purpose but I could not imagine staying longer than that.

We stayed in Hótel Keilir for one night between flights. Our room was great; very clean, comfortable pillow and blanket, good-sized bathroom, nice minibar and AMAZING view to the sea. The staff was friendly and helped with everything. We got good tips what to do in Keflavik. The staff took care more than enough: I forgot something in the room and they made a lot of effort sendind it back. I'm really thankful for their hospitality and would recommend this hotel for everyone!

Our goal in Iceland was to see the northern lights and we saw them from our room! My husband opened the window, put his iPhone outside and rested his elbow on the window latch, effectively creating a tripod. His photos were fantastic!! If you’re looking for a high end hotel, look elsewhere. If you just need a bed with a super comfortable cover, a shower, a hot breakfast and a great location for views of sunrise, a walk along a sea path and onto some cliffs and a place to watch aurora borealis, this is your place! Keflavík is 45 minutes from the Golden Circle but that wasn’t a problem for us. A special thank you to BRYNDIS at the front desk. Normally, she works afternoons and evenings. But when I called her to tell her that we would be checking in very late, like 6AM, she made a special trip to the hotel to greet us! 2 days later, I stayed out, behind the hotel, until 12:30AM watching the aurora borealis (before I realized how well you could see them from the room). When I walked into the hotel, BRYNDIS was there waiting for me! I apologized for being so late and she said no problem, that she prefers to stay until everyone is back. Thank you, BRYNDIS

I'd asked for a quiet room but instead was across the street from a VERY noisy pub & got almost no sleep. The shower didn't work. The breakfast buffet consisted of cold cuts & juice boxes.

Best Hotel and good serves. Very nice romm and good shower . Clen and cosý. Good brekfast and nice staff. Good location . The hotel maneger is nice lady and help us a lot. Keflavik is a nice town not far frome the ariport. Rekamend this hotel Thanks
