"The room has a shared bathroom and pantry area. - Room and bed ok The room is a bit small but sleeps comfortably. (but got to sleep for a short while because I had to get up quickly to catch the morning flight) - When cooking, I tend to be considerate of other people. Because it also has a living area. Don't dare to cook food with strong smells. - Shared bathrooms are few, but it's not a problem. - The best part is being able to see the Northern Lights from the accommodation. - Shuttle service to and from the airport is at 4500ISK/trip/1-4 people (information as of 22/9/2023)"

I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, and the owner greeted me and confirmed my flight itinerary for the next day. Since my flight was at 7 AM, requiring me to leave around 5:30 AM, the owner was already waiting and personally drove me to the airport. Such hands-on service is rare. Thank you to Hotel Berg for their warm hospitality; highly recommended!"

Shame there was no view of the harbour. However, the sky from our room was spectacular.. Glitch on the system would not let me attach photos."

"Two of us wanted to overnight before a flight the next morning. We arrived after staff had gone and got in with a door code. The rooms were small and comfortable and there were shared bathrooms. There was a wide range of tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. There was a phone for booking a taxi. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. (About £20.00). The best feature was that we were only a minute of two from the main street (it is a very small place) and found a good bar and excellent Italian. All good."

"Facilities: Pretty good, basic necessities are all provided, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Hygiene: good, clean. Environment: Very good. Although the bathroom is shared, it is generally clean and the space is large. The hotel is very close to the airport, within ten minutes' drive. Service: The staff has a good attitude. They arrived late at night and informed us in advance how to check in by themselves."

"Compared to the rooms I stayed in Lei City, there's nothing particularly outstanding here. The hotel's 3km distance from the airport is quite inconvenient; it's a long walk without a dedicated sidewalk. Only Marriott members can enjoy the airport shuttle service before 8 AM. After 8 AM, taxis are the only option, and a 3km, 4-minute drive cost over 30 USD. It would have been better to pay a bit more and stay at a hotel closer to the airport."

I received room code a few days prior to check-in, so it was a breeze check-in. Room design (shower and toilet) is a bit odd though, but it is only for a night (few hours), so it is ok."

"As the first hotel of my Iceland trip, the overall experience was quite good. Because I checked in at around 8 AM on August 4th, the front desk almost wouldn't let me check in, as I had to check out at 11 AM. → My flight arrived in Iceland early on August 3rd. I then pleaded: "Let me have breakfast and pack my things." Front desk finally agreed... The service was excellent, the room was clean, well-lit, and the basic facilities were all good. Thumbs up! 👍"
