"The room has a shared bathroom and pantry area. - Room and bed ok The room is a bit small but sleeps comfortably. (but got to sleep for a short while because I had to get up quickly to catch the morning flight) - When cooking, I tend to be considerate of other people. Because it also has a living area. Don't dare to cook food with strong smells. - Shared bathrooms are few, but it's not a problem. - The best part is being able to see the Northern Lights from the accommodation. - Shuttle service to and from the airport is at 4500ISK/trip/1-4 people (information as of 22/9/2023)"

"We stayed one night before we flew home to UK. we’d rented a motor home and that company offered us a free transfer after dropping the van to our overnight accommodation. We were given Pod 20. All the pods are obviously the same and completely adequate for what we need. A comfy bed, a tv (take ear buds etc). Excellent showers and a kitchen area to make coffees etc too. The whole place is very, very clean. Only downside would be that as people arrived back to spend the night in their allocated Pod, it was a tad noisy, but let’s be honest, no one sleeps properly when you’ve an early alarm call. We walked into the town of Keflavík for dinner (about 5 minutes walk) and enjoyed a very nice meal overlooking the sea. We booked an airport transfer with the Pod company for 4am and the driver (owners son in law I think) was prompt and friendly. The price was good and the staff we encountered were friendly. I’d definitely recommend using the Pods and I’d use them again."

"Compared to the rooms I stayed in Lei City, there's nothing particularly outstanding here. The hotel's 3km distance from the airport is quite inconvenient; it's a long walk without a dedicated sidewalk. Only Marriott members can enjoy the airport shuttle service before 8 AM. After 8 AM, taxis are the only option, and a 3km, 4-minute drive cost over 30 USD. It would have been better to pay a bit more and stay at a hotel closer to the airport."

"This place has the potential to be better than it is. It is reasonably priced and in a good location. Especially for people using the airport. The good side is that it has small but adequate rooms with the essentials. It has private parking available. The downside starts at the front door. It has a code for entering the building and then you find a booket explaining the place and its rules with your key attached. The owners live in the building, but you never see them. No personal touch. My main complaint is the shared bathroom and shower. There is no place to hang your clothes or put any toiletries. The only place possible is occupied by a stack of towels for the guests. the towels could have been in the rooms. And the plastic shower enclosure is raised high above the ground and not attached to the wall. It is no good for older or handicapped people. "

"Having a flight out at 6am is never easy. You want to have some sleep yet you don't want to be as close as possible to the airport. Plus what about your rental car as most companies don't open that early. Nupan Deluxe is a very convenient place for all that. We rented our car with LAVA (recommended) which is a 15' walk from Nupan Deluxe (so do the luggage at ND, bring in your car at say 18pm and walk back to ND). ND is located a 5' stroll from the calm keflavik seaside, with restaurants and bars (we ate pizza and salmon at Mamma Mia's). The place has a very personal feeling, quaintly decorated. The rooms are very large, beds are comfortable, everything is perfectly clean). There's a very well organized self check in. No breakfast but there's a kitchen where you can make some complementary coffee or tea. We slept some good hours before getting up at 3:15 to be brought to the airport, 8' drive away, by the owner. We paid 25€ for the ride. I think that as of 5am the ride is for free even. This was the best experience we could have with a red eye flight."
