Durham Lodge Bed & Breakfast

We only stayed one night in Perth before heading for Busselton but it was one very comfortable evening and lovely morning :) The place is easy to find, park and restaurants are close by. Millie the lovely pup made the stay even more worth it ^^

Stayed at Durham Lodge for 4 nights. Very happy with the accommodation. Premise is well maintained as if just renovated. Very clean room and bathroom. Free secured car park. Thank you to host Maurice for taking the trouble to chat with us every morning. Appreciate your hospitality. Highly recommend while you are in Perth.

Not an AirBnB. It's what we used to have - Bed & Breakfast. A switched-on host, large and comfortable room & ensuite, and located near enough to the city, airport and freeways. Communal lounge, car parks for mid-sized vehicles and great communication and check-in, ticks all the boxes.

Beautifully appointed clean room with modern en-suite facilities. Spacious common room for relaxation and continental breakfast. Maurice is an engaging and hospitable host. The premises are very secure. The Victoria Park restaurant ***** is nearby as is public transport to the city. Would highly recommend.

Place was bright ,clean and with ample parking and well secured. Room was spacious and clean with all amenities. Bathroom very clean with clean towels and all items required for use. Toilet very clean. Good Wi-Fi access. TV available but we did not bother to turn it on. Breakfast was included . Common breakfast area spacious and clean. A variety of oats ,cereals ,biscuits, bread available with jams. honey and butter. Fruits like blue berry, strawberry and banana are provided. A variety of beverages are available. Host Maurice is friendly and helpful. By the way Maurice is a one man show and does everything himself. You have absolute privacy and atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. BNB is walking distance to many restaurants with international cuisines, bars and cafes and Woolworth's supermarket. With car it takes less than 8 mins drive.

From the moment we arrived, we were delighted with our two-night stay at Durham Bed & Breakfast, a centrally located boutique facility. This purpose-built property combines good design with tasteful decoration and inclusions. Our host, Maurice, is dedicated to providing every guest with a genuine 5-star experience. Everything you could require is available. In addition to your private luxurious space, a central living area is waiting for you to dine and lounge at your discretion. Maurice is a wonderfully gracious host who goes beyond to ensure you enjoy your time. Every space was clinically clean, and everything was working. The sense of security and peace was always present. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. I'd chosen this B&B for it's ease of getting to Optus Stadium having travelled from Melbourne for an AFL game. 350 metres from the direct bus and 700 metres from the direct train station. Victoria Park's main shopping and restaurant ***** is a block behind Durham Lodge, the local supermarket is an easy walk away, so if you've forgotten to pack something or want a variety of cuisines for lunch or dinner you've picked the perfect location. Durham Lodge provides an excellent continental breaksfast with a variety of cereals, juices, yoghurts, breads, condiments, teas and a Nespresso machine. Fresh fruit is also available. Guests can access the beverages at any time. There is a large lounge with a huge television and board games for guests to play. I had booked the Deluxe Queen Suite for 4 nights as it has its own private courtyard which I thought I might use but the weather during my stay didn't allow it. The bathroom has an enormous walk-in shower, large vanity with plenty of drawers and a cupboard for my toiletries, and a heating lamp in the light/fan combo. The bed was super comfy with excellent quality linen and 4 pillows. There was a large wardrobe with hangers, a luggage rack (although there was already one in the room), an iron and ironing board. I had a small fridge with tea and coffee making facilites although I used the kettle out i the lounge area mostly. Rooms also have their own split system so you can have your room at your desired temperature. Maurice is an exceptional host ably assisted by the delightful Millie, his dog, who would run to greet me when I returned from my adventures. Maurice was attending the same football match as me so led me to the bus stop to use and gave me excellent directions on how to return home. His property is very secure and even though it's on a main road, the double glazed windows eliminated any road noise. I found everything to be spotless and absolutely perfect. I will definitely return to stay here when I next venture across for an AFL match or even an AFLW game as Durham Lodge is also walking distance from Mineral Resources Park.
