Comfortable, clean and friendly. Excellent off road parking. Located near major roads and the airport but set back and quiet. Access is possible by the service road and the Caltex service station. The attached restaurant is modest but tasty fare and sufficient in quantity.

I had a booking for their wheelchair accessible room for months. Five days before we left for our trip, the motel rang to cancel the booking because, and I quote, 'a guest has extended their stay'. Trying to find another wheelchair accessible motel room in Perth at short notice was almost impossible (not very inclusive, Perth!). Seems a booking means nothing to this motel.

Absolutely appalling service and professionalism at The Wattle Grove!! Our families have patronaged this motel for 20 years. But never again!! I had booked on the phone a few weeks ago and paid in full!! Great I thought and a confirmation was sent to my email. We are a retired couple and had just travelled from Geraldton, not a long way for some but at our age it is!! We arrived mid afternoon to check in. We were told that we didn't have a room available. Then they told us it was for night before!! That was an out and out lie. I had proof from the email we had the correct day!! Absolutely disgusting by this motel. Be warned everyone!!

I’ve just had the most ridiculous experience with the management of this motel, I felt others need to be aware. After booking a room online for a night next month I received the usual confirmation, then I received another email advising me that I was required to send them a photograph of my credit card and drivers licence. This is despite my credit card payment having already been processed. I phoned and said I was uncomfortable providing those details due to the high risk of identity fraud, I was advised it was the law (it is not). I finally offered to provide my drivers licence number and the last digits of my credit card, apparently this was not sufficient. I was arriving after hours and had not stayed here before, my booking was cancelled. In all the hundreds of places I’ve stayed all over Australia I’ve never been subjected to this stupid level of protocol. A thoroughly unpleasant experience.

So first walk in, room was spacious and very happy with the room. However, first morning I woke up to the banging noise which I figured out that it was trades taking shower in the early morning and pipes are banging. Was annoying but thought it is old building. On that night, I try to take shower and there were no water pressure and no hot water to the room. Called reception and she said (GM said) that because others are taking shower so just need to be patient. Waited hour or two but no not water. I think I waited another hour and there were hot water but no water pressure. If Hotel/Motel
