Hotel Eldorado at Eldorado Resort

As locals trying to access the restaurant, we were really not impressed with how difficult it was to access via Rotary beach. We tried at several access points and were met by fake signage as this business is trying to claim the waterfront which should be public access.

The hotel management are not good members of the community they block access to public boardwalk so they can operate a larger patio. Do no stay here please stay anywhere else in Kelowna.

This hotel has been preventing the community from accessing the Boardwalk that is supposed to be publicly accessible. If you value hotels that care about the community then do not stay here!

We have been coming here for 16 years and it has always delivered! Best brunch spread in my opinion. Everything is cooked or baked really well. Awesome presentation too! I had the rack of lamb and it was probably the best I have ever had! One critique that I have is how the lamb was placed onto polenta and the gravy poured over it. It is a common theme in the Okanagan amd I don't know why. Another common theme is over garnishing with parsley! I had a parsley patch on my French onion soup and made sure to tell the waiter not to do it to the lamb. You have to tell every restaurant that or they will throw it all over your plate.

Ok, this is ridiculous. Our group drove 40km to go sit on their gorgeous patio on the water in the sun for some chicken wings, appies, lunch and a drink today. Guess what? They do buffet brunch and agreed to seat us but refused to let us order anything from the menu. Stating that they wanted each of us to pay $55 for the buffet. No menu service because it starts at 2pm. Wtah? The place was far from full and we weren't ever going to be able to eat $55 worth of food! Who eats at a buffet and gets their money's worth. I guess people do..? So rather than find A solution, the person was content to stare down at her tablet and let all of us walk out of the Hotel? Who does this? Sell the service and the food! So we all went up to Summerhill and literally had the best customer service experience we've ever had in Kelowna? WHO LET'S CUSTOMERS LEAVE??? Hey, that's not how it's done! Mini buffet options? We could've been talked into 3 poached eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes and caesars. $25 bucks... Done! WTAH? It wasn't busy! What happens if you're staying there? You're forced into eating a $55 brunch? The rooms are nice as is the maid looking after the room. They want to make every dollar they can as when you go into a restaurant even if you stay there they want to make money on parking which is overboard in my opinion. Food is average but very expensive as a cup of coffee cost $5.00 which is ridiculous! I’d choose a more reasonable place next time as the room cost is super expensive for a three day stay at $1200.00 plus. Oh when you leave they charge you for parking which was unexpected.

We had a great experience at the EL. Our entire staff stayed here. The conference rooms were great. The staff was awesome. Food was great. Beautiful spot and would highly recommend for any team gathering.

While the hotel is old, it is very warm and comfortable. My wife and I brought our two boys aged 10 and 11. The room was light and classic with amenities.
