An absolute gem to take a day before onward travel after a long haul flight. They will pick you up at the airport and also provide a ride to nearby restaurants and shops. This well established stopover, has comfortable rooms (great beds) and is a peaceful haven in a bustling metropolis. Be sure to relax by the pool with a few drinks from the bar, and enjoy the pretty gardens, and the birds will keep you company. In the evening, be sure to get dropped at Emporer’s Palace for a lot of dining choices, and when you are replete, Aero Lodge will pick you up and take you home to bed! So very easy!

We needed a pleasant place to stay overnight longer than what is available at an airport hotel as our international departure was late afternoon. I chose Sunrock because of airport transfers inclusion, its proximity to the airport and traveller reviews. What a pleasant surprise this place was. Will definitely stay here again, particularly when travelling with family. Nice garden and lovely pool area. The themed bar was a delight, and the dinner (extra), although simple without much choice, was delicious. Good security and very pleasant staff. Whilst some reviewers state they have found it noisy at times from surrounding residences, we did not experience that at all and actually found it to be peaceful, despite some airplane noise during the day (which is to be expected when only 10 minutes from an airport). We chose the honeymoon/double room. It came with an ensuite bathroom which had both a bath and walk in shower.

We had a wonderful stay last weekend at Schoon Huis Manor. Dominique was an absolute delight to deal with during the booking process, she also helped us with a dinner reservation and airport transfer bookings. Ryan was our host and a great one at that. We had early starts and late nights and he was always there to great us on arrival and departure. We found all staff to be friendly and efficient. The guesthouse itself is very unique, it's so exciting looking around each new area and room. Just beautiful. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The first stay was ok, but it was a family house renovation, cockroaches because I booked it close to me. The room was on the second floor pushing open the door to the balcony, where there were tables and chairs but thick dust. The second stay was very angry 😡, because there was something wrong on the first day of two days, the next day they found that they sold the good room I ordered at a higher price to later people without my consent. I could go to the room where I was almost in, and the hot water in the room was put for 20 minutes before it came out. Will not stay at the inn again. Thanks to Trip.com customer service for its excellent service!

Wow! I was so impressed with Aerotropolis, from the late-night shuttle service at the airport, to the tired but welcoming host when we arrived, to the nicely appointed rooms...quiet at night with only the very occasional fly-over noise...and then in the morning to discover a lovely green oasis: the plants, the pool, the play area for kids. AND, a sumptuous breakfast included in the price. (Please tip the cook! She deserves it!) My only recommendation is for the owner to consider installing air conditioning units. The windows in the rooms cannot keep it cool enough so it is warm warm in summer! It's a more budget-conscious spot, but absolute value for price. (And it was very booked up with guests, so don't wait until just before you arrive to book.)

The staff at Airport Game Lodge were amazing, from Judy, the friendly receptionist that moved my room due to electrical issues in the area (as well as gave me risks and put the heater on in my room beforehand to keep it toasty), to Anele who picked me up from and dropped me off at the airport so reliably, to Monica who made a scrumptious breakfast in her Garden restaurant, highly recommended!
