We stayed in one of the Treetop units. The resort is divided into small "sub-divisions" connected by main roads. The overall feel is very natural and camp-like, with minimal (but careful) landscaping and care throughout. The buildings on the property (cottages, bungalows, treetop units, etc.) are impeccably designed inside and out. We loved the small screened porch in our unit - that's where we enjoyed the complementary breakfast pastry and coffee (and complementary yogurt & granola in the fridge). All the service staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much. Earth restaurant was excellent for dinner. I am noting some minor things that could be improved: - No bar service at the adult pool between 3-5 pm, which is when most adults used the pool. We were told to walk in to the adjacent restaurant to order drinks, but walking through a fancy restaurant in a wet bathing suit to order a drink seemed out of place. -We were communicating with the front desk through the "texting" option, which was very convenient. However, couple of little things were fell through the cracks, so we realized it was best to call the front desk instead of texting. -Our dirty breakfast dishes were not picked up and replaced during one of the days of our stay. We had to call for clean coffee cups and plates for the next breakfast, which did not show in time. We had to wash the dirty cups and plates in the tiny bathroom sink with a soap bar - not exactly a five-star moment. -The only on-site food option is the high-end Earth restaurant. For families with kids, this seems inconvenient. -We would have appreciated more on-site or nearby options for biking and hiking trails. The existing pathways around the property are very nice, but more extensive trails would be a great addition. Biking to the beach was very convenient and the on-site complementary bike system worked very well.
