The room is equipped with simple and needed amenities including the coffee making facilities. The front office staff too put an happy face while checking in and out. There is no private parking here by the hotel but one can always park at the local authorities parking along the road. The hotel puts up the parking coupons for you on their experience. There is a lot to love about the Purest Hotel in Sungai Petani starting with the room decor. It reminded me of the style of many small boutique hotels I have stayed at in Northern Italy over the years. Simple stylish and elegant would sum it up. The breakfast spread here again ranks with some of the best I have experienced at any South East Asian Hotel. Catering no for both Western and Asian taste it offers a good selection to both. I ate a very satisfactory lunch in the restaurant on the ground floor on one day, which again was good quality. Vegetables that accompanied the dish were nicely presented on the plate and mercifully al dente, a feat that many hotels worldwide fail. Where it is let down: The marble bathroom floor, whilst stylish, is a virtual deathtrap when wet as it becomes dangerously slippy. This is as mentioned in previous reviews and could be solved with the simple addition of a rubber floor mat. Being a supposed 4 star hotel and given it has a swimming pool I would have expected bathrobes, but there were none. When I enquired I was told they were available at the pool, they were not. When I enquired at reception no one seemed to have a clue as to wheter they had them or not. I was eventually told they did not provide them. This, despite me having seen the same in the housekeeping laundry basket. The pool area is a bit of a mess with stacked chairs here and there and no staff until 4pm. In the meantime it's seems to be used by hotel staff wanting to have a smoke. The pool itself, whilst great, is missing a number of tiles which looks a bit shabby for a 4 star. Note to management, some umbrellas by the sun loungers would be great for shade in the scorching rooftop sunshine. Lastly, I ordered room service on one evening and it was delivered without cutlery or condiments to begin. The food itself, a chicken burger, completely tasteless so a disappointment. As I said to begin with a few well placed tweaks and this Hotel could be wonderful and warrent the claimed 4 stars. Would I stay again and would I recommend it? Absolutely!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. 24 hour reservation staff and 24 hour security for onsite parked cars. Location was convenient to numerous venues

Room was a bit smelly and there are some stains on the wall by the curtains. Bathroom could do a bit more cleanup. Room door handle is a bit dirty on the outside. Hotel management can really focus on cleanliness because room and the hotel itself is quite good for the price. Just a little bit upset that the double room size and layout is not the same as advertised on Trip. Overall, it's a good hotel for the price. Recommended.

For the 1st time from my many staycation here the room key not working, sound of walkie talkie from cleaner who’s walking along the hall with their cleaning equipment was too loud interrupted my sleep early in the morning other from this the worker who using gondola/sky tools for class cleaning/painting trying to open my room r window from outside several time while making so much noise from outside although management had place a note on each of lifts but still it un proper act since hotel have guest inside the building!

Thankyou for the booked vallet parking for free and also 4 oranges. Got informed a day before, that the room that booked is redundant with other customer booking. Accepted it without argue because already tired from travel. So the room got additional bed but in bad condition. The bed was broke once sitted. But get fixed in a second. Then was change to other room with same condition. Meh Got cockroach room both rooms, old furniture, tv no sound 1 room , shower cannot adjust the temperature 1 room and was CHARGED RM30 for dirty bedsheet NOT because durian, mangosteen or dragon fruit . Its just normal stain from snacks. Paid just because fed up with everything.

The hotel’s location is strategic. My 1st time in Seberang Jaya. The staffs were all very helpful and friendly. Even the bell boy & housekeeping boy, I cant remember his real name but he kept my AlQuran neatly on the table. Thanks. The room i was staying in had a very amazing view during day & night as it facing the city. Thanks for the warm hospitality as i felt welcomed. But something to improve with the toilet. Please check with the toilet system or something regarding the the ventilating system. I had problem with the security box too but the staffs came immediately to fix it. Overall, other than those prob, hotel was good!

Flamingo is a lovely, modest hotel with excellent service and a great location. The pool is maintained to very high standard with the pool attendant happy, friendly, up for a laugh as well as entertaining the kids. The pool is closed between 11-12 for cleaning and the attendant takes this job exceptionally seriously so the pool is always immaculate. There is a pool bar but service during the week is limited - better on weekends. Access to the beach is at the back of the pool and is less than ten steps into the water (although there is plastic in the water and apparently jelly fish at times but we didn’t experience that). Rooms are basic and clean each with a balcony. I didn’t get the beach view and was disappointed when my friends were as their view was stunning. The location is great with the aforementioned beach access but also a few great restaurants across the road, SAB Is a Malaysian restaurant with all sorts of food including banana leafs and breakfast. Next door is a Lebanese restaurant called Lebanese Garden which is pricy for Malaysia but very delicious. Home Cafe has decent European breakkie (again more expensive than SAB) and there is a local breakfast market 300’ away that is outstanding local food and does a night market on Tuesdays. A great hotel!

My stay at Ixora Hotel Penang was an absolute delight. The rooms were luxurious, offering stunning views and modern comforts. However, it was the attentive and friendly staff that truly made the difference, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From check-in to check-out, their hospitality was outstanding. Ixora Hotel Penang exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even upgraded my room, which was a pleasant surprise. The shower and toilet were spotless, and the automatic toilet bowl had so many features. On level two, there's a great reflexology massage therapy center and a golf simulator area with a bar, perfect for relaxation. The hotel's location is fantastic, with McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Tealive, FuHouse Restaurant, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken, Subway, 7-Eleven, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf all nearby. Further down the street, there's a Burger King inside the Caltex petrol station. Highly recommended.
