Excellent stay, great staff, lovely food. We celebrated a birthday at the hotel and would highly recommend it - all staff were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable

Well run 5 star Hotel with beautiful Spa and Pool. Best Location for visiting Mucross House, Gardens, and Abbey. I was able to walk to everything and truely enjoy all the Nature of Killarney National Park from dawn to dusk. The hotel had an elegant breakfast to start our day and plenty of options for dinner, and an evening cocktail to unwind at night. Beds and rooms were very comfortable and cozy.

We had a long drive from Galway (about 3 hours) so we were very happy to be met by friendly faces. The room was very neat and modern. We had come from a rustic hotel and it was a nice change. The room was very hot (we like it a bit cool) and it was a bit difficult to change. We had breakfast both days and the eggs Benedict the second day was one of the best meals I had on the trip. We were able to see some of the nearby grounds and enjoy the jacuzzi but if we return we would definitely spend more time exploring the area.

The hotel is an absolute gem. Friendly staff, beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable beds. The location is perfect for visiting Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, Killarney, easy drive to Dingle. We went for a wedding at the hotel and it was perfect in every way.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful setting. Very close to all tourist attractions. Spotlessly clean and fantastic decor. All staff we met were lovely, very friendly and helpful especially Laura at reception, Sean was extremely helpful and a lovely guy. Will definitely return soon. Thank you Muckross House Hotel .

Lovely weekend trip, all the staff were so helpful and nice. Used the spa and had a treatment, thanks to Amanda, fabulous. We are in the bar and it was really good. Breakfast was so good, and all the staff were so professional. Would love to return. Highly recommend.

We are just back from a two night stay here. Me and my husband and our ten month old daughter. From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. As it was my 40th birthday we had booked spa treatments and I really enjoyed the pool and couldn't recommend the facial and massage enough. The staff were so helpful with our little one and she really loved it there. Even though the hotel never acknowledged our stay for my 40th birthday it was nice that the spa facility did. We had the best meal of our stay in the yew tree restaurant and complements again to the chief. Reason we didn't give a five star review was for the lack of birthday acknowledgement which was informed when we booked hotel and the two overcharges on our bill at the end of our stay which the hotel refunded in full before we left and apologised for. Would highly recommend a visit to the spa here and restaurant.

Muckross review Everything at this hotel was of top quality, from the front desk staff and concierge to the restaurant and spa. We had never been to a spa as a couple together and this experience gave us a chance to explore the options in a small private setting. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. There is so much to do in the area, including horse drawn carriages. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, business professional, or your average Joe, this hotel has what you need. I wish all hotels provided this quality of service.
