Kingston's Townhouse

This place is just fantastic in every way. Great staff, Paul was so helpful during our stay. The Pizza which we ate in the bar was really great and the breakfast was healthy and just perfect to set you up for the day. My son and i stayed here and we both agreed that we would love to stay here in the future.

A wonderful hotel, bar and restaurant ! Rooms are fantastic, beds are super comfy and the bar/restaurant is superb however it’s the team who stand out for me, no matter what time you arrive or who is on duty there is the warmest of welcomes, nothing is too much trouble and I have a great nights sleep … home from home ! Wholeheartedly recommend Kingstons for business or leisure, great location and amazing boutique hotel !

I’ve been working down in Kerry for a few days every month for work could be 2 days could be 5 and without fail everytime I walk into the Kingston it’s like being at home!. (1) The food: IS DELICIOUS the nicest pizza I have ever had. There is a running joke in my job that we’re always jealous of the people who get sent to work in Kerry from a Thursday - Sunday because that’s when pizza is served. It’s all we talk about back in Dublin. The owner started it as a lockdown project and it’s lovely to see how it turned out to be so successful! So props to the chef! (2) The Rooms: I’ve had the pleasure of staying in every room by now I think 😂 and they are SO luxurious! The beds are HUGE and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are gorgeous and so clean, and the shower, I never want to get out of it! It is bliss. And finally (3) The Staff: never have I ever felt so at home in a hotel / townhouse. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel like you’re part of their family and they do it effortlessly. Erwin the owner takes such pride in his work and gets to know all guests by name and bits about them and will chat to everyone throughout the day no matter how busy! Paul and the other barman are always up for a chat, ask about your day and go that extra mile to make sure you’re being looked after. Nothing is too big of an ask for the staff here and coming in from work when away from home to these friendly faces actually made me not want to go back to Dublin 😂. Overall The Kingston has been topic of conversation on our team since September 2021, without fail everytime we come here we feel comfortable and looked after and it’s made these trips to kerry some of my favourite memories of 2021. My work trips have unfortunately come to and end for this year and I’m already planning to come back down for “fun” this time with the rest of the team so we can enjoy the Kingston together! Would highly recommend a trip to kilorglin just to visit this place.

This is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I stay in a lot of hotels and guesthouses as I travel for work. The room was immaculate and the decor finished to SUCH a high standard. The bed was enormous and super comfortable. The bar downstairs is just what you would want from an Irish bar. For dinner I had one of the pizzas they make fresh on site and it was incredible. I'd go back for the pizza alone. Staff were brilliant. Paul in particular gave me a really warm welcome and was only too happy to help me choose an Irish whisky or two in the bar. The only downside to my visit is that I was only here for 1 night. I could have easily spent a week or more here. I will 100% be back!

We stayed in Kingstons for 5 nights while attending a family wedding. I can’t emphasise enough the kindness, attentiveness and attention to detail from Erwin and his staff. They were wonderful, made us most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Erwin impressively remembered our names in all of our interactions. We all commented on what a lovely place Kingstons is to stay, from the super comfy rooms to the breakfast and the amazing pizzas. We definitely will go back and highly recommend Kingstons.

Great front desk assistance. The property is very nice, but can offer a small issue if you don’t like stairs (not much). The breakfast is offered at a great price and is very fresh. Bed is very comfortable and location is very convenient.

Gosh if you were to read the review below you might not ever want to stay here....but what a terrible pity that would be!!! Our fourth return to stay in the wonderful Kingstons Townhouse. It is always a pleasure to stay here. We decided to come for New Years Eve. We had a fantastic meal in Kingdom 1795 (reviewed sepetately) and chose to ring the new year in the warmth and friendliness of Erwins bar. We had starters and pizzas on N Y Day and thoroughly enjoyed them. We both slept soundly. Paul the Manager was exceptional as always. He unsured the place ran smoothly and it did.
