Nice place to stay, opposite to sea front. Food was nice although limited veg options.

This hotel is in the centre of knightstown with views of the harbour and mainland beyond. The staff are so attentive and friendly that we were made to feel really welcome. The food was top class and we had a sing song in the bar afterwards. It's also very historic going back to victorian times.

Very friendly old world charm hotel with all modern facilities and superb service, both at Reception and in the Bar/Restaurant. Room was spotless, bed was very comfy and the shower was out of this world! Would have loved to have stayed another night. Also very convenient for safe early morning/late afternoon swims in the harbou!

48 of us stayed here on Sunday 14th April. I had a double twin room with a fabulous view of the harbour and mainland. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with a lovely hot shower and plenty of toiletries and soft towels. We all dined in the hotel restaurant and the food was really lovely. I had fish and chips. The fish was really fresh and light. We took over the bar for the evening until closing and the staff were really efficient and friendly and didn't mind our sing song one bit. Breakfast the next morning was so nice after the night before's late night. I had the full Irish and there was no shortage of tea and toast to go with it. Service was really friendly and efficient. I would have no hesitation in staying here again. A charming hotel that has some really nice features. It is situated right on the harbour with lovely views. One of our group went for a lovely swim off the harbour when we arrived on the Sunday.

Stayed here as part of a group from college recently. The experience was great from booking in to leaving the next day. Stay were great and very helpful (not easy with a group of over 40 people). Food was great rooms were clean and well maintained. Planning to return soon on a personal break with my partner. Can't wait.

I ordered a plain ham sandwich. There was a small amount of ham in the sandwich and it cost €6.50 which is overpriced. I feel that advantage is taken of customers. IIn every other establishment, a plain sandwich is cheaper than a sandwich with more fillings. It is airport prices. was told that "everybody" has "gone up" in prices. It appears that businesses decide to charge whatever they want. The tea tasted dreadful. Fish and chips very greasy.

Had pizza and chips with 3 teens this week .The weather turned wet so we said we’d pass a hour in the hotel. Pizza was served with no plates or cutlery, My main issue was the pizza was awful soggy and like a poor shop branded one ,the chips were lovely. The pizza cost €16.50 !!!so expensive for a pizza pub grub and awful one at that .

They have one room for pets! And it's right next to function room. No sleep. Awful experience. It's a pity cause the room was nice, the food was decent, tours of the island great. If you are looking for a party friendly hotel, they only have one room for pets and all it's windows face right into function room. Nightmare

Food was below average, and definitely not worth almost €20 for fish and chips. Staff were also not great. They were not rude but were also not very pleasant. Our mains took 50 minutes to come out and we had to ask for a dessert menu after waiting 20 minutes. In total we were there for 2 and a half hours for a 3 course meal. This would be more understandable if it was busy, but there were only a couple other tables at the time. Very disappointing.
