It's not bad. The room is so big that the beach is just outside the door. The sound insulation is average. I kept knocking on the door in the morning to clean it, and even opened your door directly. Overall, it's okay

I unfortunately had to give this hotel a 4 star rating. It was lovely. The room was very nice and clean when we arrived. The two best parts of this hotel is the pool and the transportation to and from Duval Street. The pool was very nice and the bar staff were very attentive. Many locals use the pool so - it can get crowded at times. The transportation was on time every day! The reason for the 4 star - there was absolutely no housekeeping. We were told when we checked in - we would have to request. By the 4th day - we really needed our trash removed, towels refreshed, etc. When we did request housekeeping - we were told - no problem. No one showed up - no one communicated with us anything. I had to go to the front desk to request fresh towels and they were given to me somewhat damp. For the amount of money that we paid - that was not ok. The hotel was recently sold by Marriott and this was definitely not what we were used to with Marriott.

Our stay at Beachside Hotel in Key West was wonderful despite the fact they are no longer associated with Marriott. We were a little nervous about that but when we got there we had a warm welcome and even got a room upgrade at no additional charge thanks to Angel at the front desk. He worked it all out with the travel agent thru our United Package. Lisa from the concierge set us up with some great excursions on the sandbar cruise which leaves right from the hotel and also the Sunset Cruise on the Fury. Then shuttle service was awesome and took us to Duval St a few times at no extra cost. The people at the pool were so friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had towels and drinks and food from the bar by the pool. The hotel was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The rooms were cleaned at our request twice while we were there for 5 days. The maintenance staff was also very responsive when we had an issue with our toilet and they came to fix it right away. Don’t let the fact they aren’t with Marriott anymore deter you from staying here. Our stay was wonderful!!

I was only there for 18 hours for the cost of the room at $819.37. The hidden amount is $200 for cleaning. I did dispute this charge but was told I was advised of a cleaning fee and no adjustment would be made. BE CAREFULL when booking. The room was clean although we were told it was available but the staff was still in it. The rooms are a bit dated. The coffee pot in the A room did not work.

Booked 3 nights. Small room but nice decor. Faced an open hallway. Not a Marriott anymore so no points. Off Hywy 1 super busy, not good for walking. Nothing close by. No house keeping at all. Jacuzzi didn’t work. Tv cable kept freezing up. Ice had to come from the office. No laundry facility. Beach was narrow. No receipt for our payment. I do not recommend!
