Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton

Beautiful Place! But the Beach area should be cleaned, so we can swim. Really recommend for family trip.

The hotel is gorgeous! It is set on a wide section of beach, like no other hotel in Key West. They have 2 pools, one adults only and the other is for families. They have waiters wandering around to take food and drink orders. There is a pier as well as a water sports rental facility located on the property. The restaurant is open air and located between the pools. The food tastes great. The rooms are very spacious and are equipped with a coffee maker and mini fridge. The bathrooms are the smallest I've ever squeezed into. The staff is very friendly but service is a little slower than expected. The cons: We had to ask 4 different people over 2 days before we actually were able to secure a luggage rack for our room and got our luggage off the floor. The ac in our room went out and they did fix it, but it took over an hour to get someone there with the tools he needed to fix it at midnight... Our room also had a table with a single chair. We asked for a second chair, but in the 4 days we were there, we never received one. For the thousands we spent to be there for a long weekend, you would think the room would have 2 chairs and a luggage rack. Overall the hotel was gorgeous, room was spacious (except for the bathroom), and we like that the location was a little off the beaten path. We enjoyed our stay minus a couple if inconveniences. I would recommend staying there, but I would say bring your patience if you have any requests.

We had an okay time at Casa Marina. The hotel itself was beautiful; though key west isn’t known for its beaches, being beachfront was really pretty and created a nice ambience. The breakfast was decent as well. The two things we didn’t like were the size of the pools; the hotel was at full capacity and getting space at the pool was challenging. The other thing was service. We had a leaking shower and broken shower handle (among other issues) that needed to be addressed and it took multiple times reaching out and over a day to get fixed. If you’re looking for a good location that’s beachfront, this is it. I just wouldn’t expect five star service.
