This hotel is an older hotel, but very well kept. All the comforts of nice air conditioning, good plumbing and electric. The bed was super clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast and morning coiffed were great! Pools and parking lot were well kept. We were pleased with our stay!

I spent two days at this motel ahead of a work engagement, somewhere else on Key West. Overall rates in town are truly ridiculously expensive, so this was the most I ever spent on hotel room, not to speak of motel. For that amount, it was disappointing, especially as I was put in a room right next to a live-music venue (stay away from Room 40). Mercifully it was over at 11pm, but beforehand it was not pleasant, and they were not able/willing to move me. Otherwise it is a very basic motel room.

Southwinds motel is located close to Duval St, walkable to everything in Key West. Rooms are smaller but have everything you need

Kleine Zimmer zu Apothekenpreisen und asoziale Leute die sich am Pool aufführen und Stühle ins Wasser werfen!!! Und snd voll besoffen und schreien rum… 06.05.2024 Time 3:07 pm Eine Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde von der arroganten dunkelhäutigen Dame ignoriert mit den Worten „ Ist ihr doch egal.“ Buchen Sie hier bloss nicht.

Zimmer sehr teuer und dafür viel zu klein. Es gibt keine. Safe, kein kleiner Schrank und schaut aus wie ein kleines Loch für teures Geld. Das Bad hat die Größe einer Toilette und man kann sich darin kaum bewegen. Fenster kann man nicht verdunkeln und Nachts ist es so hell wie am Tag, da vor den Fenstern Scheinwerfer installiert sind. Wer auf so einen Schwachsinn kommt… und wenn, dann sollten innen Vorhänge zum Verdunkeln angebracht werden. Klimaanlage laut wie ein Panzer.
