My sister and I stayed the past weekend at The Gardens Hotel. What can I say?! It's a beautiful and relaxing Inn with outdoor pools, a pool bar, and lush gardens - all less than a block from the heart of Duval Street. The place has such a wonderful ambiance. The gardens were beautiful with the Koi pond, birds, turtles, statues, gazebo, and winding pathways. The Sunday night live jazz music was one of the highlights of our stay featuring the famous Broadway entertainer, Terri White - and, it was free! The Wine Gallery featured many famous wines. Some were listed over $200 per bottle but you could purchase a glass for under $16! With such a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere it was hard to pull ourselves away to see Duval Street and the sites! Thanks to the staff who were very accommodating, attentive, and friendly. We'll be back again!

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was the best place I have ever been. From the service to the cleanliness to the amenities, hands down the best ever. It was a very relaxing experience. My regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. When we come back The Garden Hotel is where we will stay.

This is our second trip to The Gardens Hotel. Our week was simply wonderful. We relished in the magical atmosphere, caught up with old friends, and made some new acquaintances. The hotel treated us to a private pool as a cottage guest along with access to the main pool. To top it off, when our flight was cancelled, due to weather, Ray went above and beyond to provide excellent service to help us, providing numerous options. We rented a car and explored the Keys until we could catch another flight, adding yet another memorable experience to our stay . We love seeing the owner, on the property, as she and her staff make us feel so special.

This was a splurge and we enjoyed it! Ray, at check-in, was exceedingly welcoming and courteous. We took advantage of the wine bar and the live piano music. While we did not partake, the outdoor bar and heated pool in the courtyard looked delightful and was certainly being enjoyed by other guests. Our room was clean and the A/C was cold. Breakfast in the courtyard was filling and a lovely setting to boot.

Amazing hotel. Location, service and an extremely cozy hotel. The garden was so nice and beutiful. We will for sure come back!

Great hotel. Amazing staff there. Beautiful atmosphere. If you want a quality experience, elegant feel and close to Duval Street this is it. The room was perfect, soft beds, clean and all you needed. Gardens and pool area were a great place to relax. Well worth the visit.

Amazing, little charming oasis!

The Gardens Hotel did not disappoint. From the moment we checked in, Ray and Nancy could not have been more accommodating and hospitable. Immediately, we were offered a glass of bubbly during check-in. We arrived around 1pm and Ray orchestrated us getting into our lavish room within 15 minutes of our arrival. Our room was exquisite with no detail overlooked, coffee maker, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, flashlight and all the amenities. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. No detail is overlooked and they even have sunscreen and bug spray available at the bar without purchase for all guests. This is a quaint property with a lavish garden, pool, bistro tables, tortoise's enclosure, bird cage, fountains and assorted self-serve wine bar with 1 oz. sampler and 5 oz. pours. There is nightly music and they often host wine tastings. Breakfast served by Jose consisted of scrabbled eggs, bacon, hash brown potatoes, juice, coffee and fresh fruit yogurt. A peaceful sanctuary close to every Key West attraction and restaurants/bars. Phil at the outdoor pool bar will keep the conversation going and helps all guests mix and mingle. Owner Kate Miano can be extremely proud of her true gem in Key West and all of her staff that go "above-and-beyond" to fulfill her vision. We fully intend on returning, next time for a longer stay.
