Accommodations in Key West are very pricey. We found that the Garden House was a very reasonable value. It is an old property but very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but we were rarely in it. We were on the second floor (no elevators) and enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the second story patio. It has a very, very small (clothing optional) pool. The bikes that the hotel rents out are very nice and it was cheaper then renting from anywhere else. Besides the cost, the best part of staying at the Garden House is the location! It was close to all to all the downtown places that we like to go to. We never had to use Uber during our stay except for going to and from the airport.

Sammy is The Best! And his waffles he makes for breakfast are awesome! Everyone there was very helpful and super nice. Location is perfect. Walking distance to many restaurants and only a few blocks away from fun on Duval St. I would recommend reserving a parking space as parking on the street is very minimal.

Sammy Sammy Sammy! He's the absolute best. He goes above and beyond for his guests. Someone said he's the glue of the Garden House and I couldn't agree more. This cozy hotel is just what the wife and I needed. Thanks so much for taking great care of us Sammy.

If you are looking for a luxury resort this is not your place. If you are looking for a cute, clean, quaint place to stay this is your spot. Sammie from Miami is an amazing host. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very good. Walking distance to Duvall Street. I would stay here every time.

If you want to stay at the Hilton, go stay at the Hilton. If you want to be welcomed like family, stay at the Garden Inn. Being welcomed by Sammy "Miami" was like staying with some quirky long lost relative. I've never been to Key West before, but this type of a**osphere is supposed to be what the area is known for. Laidback, personal, and full of character. Try the waffles, I'm a food snob and even I thought they were good.
