Good hotel, in the city center. Private parking less than 50 meters from the property at an additional cost of 12 euros/24h.

Convenient stop between Meteora and the Athens airport without going into Athens. We made the 4 hour drive from Meteora and had an early flight to the islands the next day. This hotel was an easy stop, parking was easy on the street, and the town had lots of restaurants and cafes for dinner. The drive to Athens airport was about 45 minutes in the morning, even with rush hour traffic. Hotel was clean and well kept. Enjoyed the pool after a long drive.

Only bad thing was the beds were too firm for us but everything else was lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were excellent, food, pool and service brilliant and well worth the money. Even when it was fully booked we never had to wait long for anything. Will be back!

If you're looking for an outdoor pool to beat the summer heat and a good location in a nice, fancy, calm neighborhood, then this is a great option. However, this is in NO WAY a 5-star hotel as advertised. The room was fine, the AC worked perfectly, the bathroom is a bit dated but functional. It's in a nice, safe neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of central Athens, with plenty of good dining options nearby and only a 30-minute car ride to the airport. However, two things were not acceptable for a hotel of that standard: 1) The breakfast is very basic, very few options apart from the usual basics 2) There was a GIANT cockroach in my room (I've traveled all around the world, and this one was a winner); I understand mistakes can be made, windows can be opened by the staff etc. but the VERY LEAST hotel management can do in those situations is immediately make a commercial gesture, gift etc. to their customer to apologize for that oversight. Or at least pretend to care. Again, if you pretend to be a 5-star hotel, barely saying "I'm very sorry" and looking like you don't care is completely unacceptable - this is no way to treat your customers when they find something so disgusting in the room, at a hotel whose name includes "Palace" Had it not been for the cockroach episode, my rating might have been a bit better, but honestly guys, get it together. The hotel is nice, the location is good, it has potential but if you want to stay in business you should pay more attention to your customer experience.

Stayed 3 days, 2 nights. Location excellent. 20/30 mins to airport. Lovely neighbourhood, quite safe and tree lined streets with good shops and restaurants on doorstep. Hotel is a throwback to the past, it’s still well cared for with good communal areas. But showing some age. Outdoor pool area great. Breakfast average, just about ok but for a four star hotel, not great. Rooms spacious, well maintained and good AC. But, the shower over the bath is a disaster. The shower is simply a hose and shower head at the centre of the bath. A tired plastic curtain sticks to you if you try to pull it to stop water getting over bathroom. Not a real problem for me as the pressure in the shower was awful and barely able to wash shampoo off head. Appalling. I reported twice to reception but was met with nothing back. Overall, nice hotel, great location and if shower was better a good 3/4 rating. Comfortable not stunning hotel.

When I made my reservation, the hotel was part of the Small Luxury Hotel brand. By the time I travelled, the hotel was no longer affiliated and the initial desk clerk wouldn't honor the room-type I had reserved. But the issue was straightened out, and we were accommodated in a lovely 2 bedroom-2 bathroom suite (which was what I had booked). Spacious, sitting area with balcony, 2nd bedroom was a sofabed (fine for one night). Large bathrooms with tubs and shower. Nice pool area and restaurant with buffet breakfast included. Rest of staff (reception, bellhop, housekeeping) very nice and helpful, English spoken. The hotel is in a suburb area of Athens - but walking distance to a variety of dining and shopping, so great location if you want to be out of the hustle-bustle of downtown Athens.

Bed was very firm. Classic European two singles shoved together. Gap was noticeable but not too bad. Pillows were excellent: not too firm not too mushy. Bathroom was very big by European standards but the tub/shower combo was super narrow (even using those same stds) So narrow that while in it my elbows would be hitting the tile while my back was stuck to shower curtain. The shower curtain rod was just one of those cheap spring-loaded affairs. I tossed my polo on it upon arrival and the thing immediately fell. I replaced it and then just treated it w kid gloves the rest of the week. - Kleenex box just dropped on top of hair dryer. I assumed (I know--stupid) it was secured there. When I pulled a tissue the whole box came flying down...made a nice catch mid-flight though. No hand towels/wash cloths after day 1. Even when I asked maid for them she didn't have any. Worst part of room was curtains: broken draw string and even if that worked they couldn't cover wall to wall; see pic. I need a dark room and curtains let sunlight in right-left & center. Awful Small fire extinguishers placed all along the hallway. Nice safety-wise but not much on style points. Seems like there should be a more elegant solution w/o sacrificing availability...I could make some nice cubbies in my shop in no time. A/C was very good as it was a normal hot Greek summer and the room was very comfortable throughout the week. Breakfast was great! Good quality and quantity and they had one of those OJ machines that squeezed oranges on demand supplying the freshest of fresh OJ....that alone was worth the price of admission!!! Very nice pool area with lots of shady spots to hide from hot Greek sun. Staff was very nice! Location - superb. Easy walk into all the shop and restaurants in Kifissia.

Nice and leafy area. Very large bedroom and good storage space. Classical dark furniture with a little worn carpet. Shower on top of bath. Separate toilet. The other hotel for breakfast and pool is very close. A special thank you to Ari, the best receptionist of all there.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the standard of the hotel is not to the standards of a 5 star hotel. I would rate it more as barely 3 stars. Needs alot of upkeeping. The hairdryer in the room was taped together and it would be quicker to put your head out the window to dry your hair. Would not recommend this hotel.

This is entirely based on the waiters in the breakfast room. Monosyllabic and stern when I (ugly old woman) asked them a very brief question (I smiled and was friendly), then falling over themselves with proactive service, friendliness and smiles when a nice-looking gentleman entered. You should have been there, hard to explain, it was striking and disgusting. I know it is the fate of every woman past their sell-by date to be invisible, but this was on another level.
