We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved our time here. The concierge, cleaning and dining staff are incredibly friendly and they were accommodating for every need I had. When I requested an extra pillow and water bottles, they provided that without hesitation. The breakfast -- served from 6:30am - 10:00am -- is served buffet style and consists of both sweet and savory options (fruit, toast, cereal, milk, tea, and some cooked meats & vegetables). Lastly, while we visited another region of Rwanda (via bus) for two days and two nights, Iris Guesthouse was more than happy to hold on to my suitcase so that I wouldn't have to carry extra luggage around. The only reason I gave four stars for "Rooms" is because the size of the room is quite small, but still very manageable for two people. I would highly recommend this hotel for those visiting Kigali!

The environment was very clean and I must say and also the unit too. Except some few amenities lacking in some of the rooms. I don't want to mention but some major needs of travelers or tourists. They need to work on that and that will sell their business more. The building is very clean and the surrounding.

Old property with very basic accommodations. Small rooms and old furnishings. No air conditioner or fan. Near a main road, so noisy with windows open. Hard beds with polyester sheets--hot and slippery. Very scratchy towels. No shampoo or hair dryer. There are better choices in Kigali. Glad to be here just one night.

Very good location, very nice staff, clean and convenient basic guest house that I would recommend for longer stay in Kigali as they are willing to negotiate the price according to your stay. They also have apar**ent for families. Basic breakfast included... but it would be nice to have some more variation. Basic offer regarding TV as they only offer France 24 or BBC news. To mention that this Guest house is next to an excellent massage place, try the stone massage, absolutely great !
